Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Little Boy – the Bubble-Chasing, Ice-Cube-Loving Chocolate Cutie! Little Boy is a 1-year-old chocolate weimaraner/terrier mix with soulful golden eyes, big floppy ears, and a personality that’s equal parts curious explorer and gentle companion. Weighing in at just 29 pounds, he’s perfectly sized for couch cuddles, outdoor fun, and everything in between. This playful boy is house trained and crate trained—he even cries to let you know when it’s potty time. He does great with tweens and teens and loves playing with dogs of all sizes (30-70 lbs). While he hasn’t shown interest in toys yet, he absolutely adores splashing in his water bowl, chasing bubbles, swatting at flying insects, and being first in line at the fridge for an ice cube treat. Seriously—ask him, “How about an ice cube?” and watch his eyes light up! Little Boy has a medium energy level: active enough to enjoy playtime and outdoor adventures, but also loves his daily naps. He’s learning leash manners and basic commands like sit and get in your box, and currently working on come here, shake, and lay down. Birds and squirrels are very exciting distractions on walks, so continued training will be helpful. While Little Boy is a bit aloof with people and not overly affectionate, he thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful dog companion. He stays in his crate when left alone (4–8 hours), and although car rides make him a little nervous, he makes the cutest little noises during them. If you're looking for a quirky, sweet, and independent pup with a love of bubbles and cold treats, Little Boy might just be the perfect companion to add to your family! Meet Callen, an 8 month old, sweet soul ready for a home to call his very own. Known for his friendly demeanor, Callen is the epitome of a gentle companion. His playful antics are sure to bring joy and laughter to any home. Despite his goofy ways, he remains a loyal friend, always ready to offer comfort. Callen's presence in a family would not only mean endless fun but also unwavering loyalty and love. If you're looking for a heartwarming addition to your life, Callen is your perfect match. Callen is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. Story
Look at how cute Baby Murphy is ! We think he's just the most adorable little buddy EVER!! He enjoys playing with other pups and loves all the nice humans that he meets. He'll be a wonderful addition to any loving home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. "Get your motor runnin'! Head out on the highway! Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way!!!" That is one pawsome song right? My name is Wanda! I am 2 year old Catahoula mix :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! Local (Texas) adoption fee is $200 Out of state (Transport) adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

We are ready for adoption now and hope you will consider one of us please :) OOHHH PICK ME!!! PICK ME!!! I am a smart girl, obviously, and will be ready to hang with you and the family! Story
I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)
