So there I was... minding my own business, when... a CHICKEN crossed the road... RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!! That takes a lot of nerve, becaauuuuse I am a DOG and running things get me busy chasing... AND, THAT is why I am at the rescue :( How is that for the a kick in the pants?? My "owner" drove to the rescue, and said he would shoot me if the rescuer didn't take me..... So, anyway, here I AM! AT the rescue, loving life! I am a young lady, Weimaraner/Chocolate Lab girl, smart and happy and GREAT with other dogs! I am going to be a medium/large full grown girl, and I will make awesome arm candy for you as well :D Adopt me, the fun will abound! Just no chickens please! They act like fast food to me :( Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Jonah is a 4 year old, 30ish pound bundle of love wrapped in a handsome grayish brindly coat. This snuggle bug will be a pefect addition to any loving home. His foster mommy reports that he is house trained AND crate trained (even though he doesn't have to be crated because he bothers nothing). He loves to play with other dogs and loves all the nice people that he meets. His foster mommy takes him to all sorts of fun places and they do lots of adventures together. While Jonah is having a fun time with his foster mommy, he's ready to get settled with his own family. Because he is so social and good, he will do good playing with other doggies at doggy daycare and the dog park. He'd love to be your new hiking buddy and snuggle buddy to watch all the trash TV your heart desires. She took her to the vet and with their help and her love, she nursed her back to health, and lil miss was finally happy. Sadly, her owner recently passed away, leaving lil miss, once again, sad and lonely. She is being cared after by a sweet friend of her owners in hopes to find her a home that will love her an adore her like she had been. She is kid friendly and dog friendly with a kind and loving disposition. She is a bit apprehensive when it comes to medical care and is somewhat nervous in that situation, but you can't blame her after all the hard things this loving girl has been through. If you have the heart to give, she would be willing to take it. All she needs is a loving home to see her through.
