Meet Espresso Bean Good things take time to brew, and Espresso is proof of that. This 5-month-old Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix is one of the four adorable pups from the "Café" litter, and he's exactly the kind of dog who reveals himself in the best way. He's dressed in a beautiful white coat covered in the cutest tan details: a striking patch around his right eye, little cow-like spots scattered across his back, and a dipped tail that ties his whole one-of-a-kind look together. When Espresso first arrived, he was the more reserved and thoughtful one of the Café puppies. While some of his siblings dove headfirst into the middle of everything, Espresso liked to take it all in first, quietly sniffing around and giving himself a little time to decide that everything was okay. That gentle, observant nature is still part of who he is, but he has blossomed so much since then, and the playful, affectionate puppy underneath has come out in a big way. He's the kind of dog who takes life as it comes, and with that sweet, mellow spirit, he makes friends wherever he goes. He's equal parts playful and couch potato. Say hello to Mindy Moo, a gorgeous 3.5-year-old spotted Pointer mix with a delightful white and black coat, eagerly searching for her forever home! Mindy is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on a monthly heartworm preventive. She is house-trained and leash-trained. Mindy is sweet, intelligent, and friendly, though she may be a bit shy initially. She gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making her a fantastic addition to nearly any household. Say hello to Mindy Moo, a gorgeous 3.5-year-old spotted Pointer mix with a delightful white and black coat, eagerly searching for her forever home! Mindy is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on a monthly heartworm preventive. She is house-trained and leash-trained. Mindy is sweet, intelligent, and friendly, though she may be a bit shy initially. She gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making her a fantastic addition to nearly any household. She enjoys going for walks and playing chase with her canine companions. Currently, Mindy is participating in the Paws In Prison program, where she is refining her doggie manners.

If happiness could grow four legs and a wagging tail, we'd be introducing you to Nero Roo. This little guy is basically a walking, bouncing, zooming bundle of pure joy. Whether he's tossing his toys around, making himself laugh with his own solo zoomies, following his foster around like the world's cutest little shadow, or curling up for a nap after wearing himself out, Nero lives every single day like it's the best day ever. Whatever breeds came together to create this handsome little guy, they gave him the perfect mix of playful puppy energy, good looks, and a personality that's somehow even cuter than his face. Nero is exactly what you'd hope for in a puppy. He's social, affectionate, curious, goofy, and always looking for his next adventure. He loves everyone he meets and has become quite the little entertainer. Whether he's making up his own games, proudly carrying toys around the house, or bouncing through the room with the cutest mini zoomies you've ever seen, he has a way of making people laugh without even trying. Speaking of toys... this boy is obsessed! Nero can keep himself entertained for ages, happily tossing toys around, pouncing on them, and creating his own little puppy party. Every now and then he'll get so excited while playing that he'll break out into a burst of solo zoomies before going right back to playing like nothing happened. It's absolutely hilarious to watch. Once he's finally worn himself out, he's more than happy to curl up for a nap before doing it all over again. And when playtime is over? He transforms into the sweetest little cuddle bug and happily follows his foster from room to room like the perfect little shadow. If you're moving around the house, chances are Nero won't be far behind because he simply wants to be wherever his people are. Nero currently lives with four other dogs ranging from small to large and gets along wonderfully with all of them. Like any puppy, he'd love for everyone to play as much as he does... unfortunately for him, the resident dogs don't always share his enthusiasm! Even so, he enjoys their company and would likely thrive with another playful dog who could match his puppy energy. He's also fostered with free-roaming cats and has done well with them, making him a wonderful candidate for a home with feline friends too. Nero has also spent time around children as young as three years old while accompanying his foster to work, and he absolutely loves all the attention. He's always excited to make new friends and happily plays with the kids who come to visit. He's already crate trained and does a wonderful job, only whining when he needs to go outside to potty. Potty training is going well too! Like any young puppy, he's still learning where the appropriate place to go is, but he's a smart little guy who's picking things up quickly. With routine, structure, and consistency, we think he'll continue making great progress. He's also incredibly food motivated and eager to learn. Nero is already learning "sit" and has picked it up quickly, making training both fun and rewarding. He's the kind of puppy who's excited to work with you, especially if treats are involved. Now, because Nero is a puppy, he's very much in his "everything is a toy" phase of life. That includes your hands! He's mouthy in that typical puppy way and will need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him learn appropriate manners as he grows. The good news is he's eager to please, responds well to learning, and has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion. We think Nero would do wonderfully with a semi-active family that's excited to embrace all the fun that comes with raising a puppy. Meet Nellie! 💕🐾 Nellie is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely loves people and has a way of turning just about everyone she meets into a new friend. She may give a little bark when someone approaches, but once she realizes they’re there to say hello, she’s all about the pets and attention. Nellie would be a wonderful match for an active person or family who enjoys being outside. She has plenty of energy, strong athletic legs, and would likely make an amazing walking, hiking, or even running buddy. She’s still working on her leash manners, but she’s already showing that she can stay close and listen with some guidance. She’s also incredibly food-motivated, which makes training with her both fun and rewarding. In just a couple of weeks with her foster, Nellie has already made huge progress with crate training. She now settles much more calmly and will even choose to go lie in her crate on her own during the day. Nellie can be a little unsure about certain new experiences, especially things like the bath hose, but with patience, encouragement, and a little coaxing, she continues to improve. She’s the kind of dog who just needs someone willing to show her that the world is a safe and exciting place. After spending some time without the exercise and attention she deserved, Nellie is more than ready for her fresh start. She’s loving, playful, active, eager to learn, and full of potential. Jesse Freckles is his name and being the Director of Fun is game! Jesse Freckles is a well-mannered party animal in a very handsome spotted suit. He is confident, affectionate, wildly playful, toy obsessed, people loving, dog loving, and at the sweet age where he is under the assumption that personal boundaries are more of a suggestion than a rule. Jesse throws his whole heart, and occasionally his whole body, into having fun and sharing love. Underneath that enthusiasm is a smart, treat-motivated boy with a great settle. He needs a buddy who can participate in the fun while occasionally informing Jesse that even recess has rules.
