Cassia is part of the adorable Spice Litter of four (Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric and Cassia). The mom is Cinnamon (pic included). This sweet family sadly grew up in a shelter in Alabama, but their luck has finally changed! K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to save them, and now they are ready to find their respective loving forever homes. Cassia is a stunning Weimaraner/Lab mix (best guess) with a personality just as lovely as her looks. Despite her rough start in life, she is sweet, gentle and loving. She is also great with other dogs and would love the chance to discover just how wonderful life with a family can be. At her young age, Cassia is in her prime for training and socialization and is ready to learn, grow and become an amazing companion. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
