This athletic boy may be 7 years young, but he can run circles around dogs half his age. Henry adores being outside, whether he’s playing fetch, going on long walks, hiking, or just rolling on his back in the sunshine. A fenced yard is a plus, and daily exercise is a must for this spirited guy. Henry’s favorite nicknames include Hen, Henri, and Henrald. He’s also known as the Squeaker Hunter — stuffed toys don’t stand a chance! He’ll happily shred them just to proudly present you the squeaker (don’t worry, he doesn’t eat the fluff). He sleeps soundly through the night — though if he had it his way, he’d love to snuggle in bed with his human every evening. Henry is an excellent cuddler and loves following his person around the house carrying his toys or bowl 🙂 . He’s friendly with visitors when properly introduced and enjoys the company of other dogs once he’s had a slow, positive introduction. Henry can have separation anxiety but can be left safely in his crate while you're out of the house. He’s also a vocal guy — he loves to express himself! Puka was found on a street in Memphis, TN in June 2025. Despite the rope burns around his neck, he showed no fear and ran directly to me for cuddles. We have been fostering the sweetest boy for the past 8 months, but need to rehome him since we travel so much. He can self-regulate when left alone and entertain himself, but is happiest when next to a buddy. He rarely barks, loves to play fetch, and sleeps most of the day. He is also kennel trained, potty trained, calm in the tub, and knows basic commands. Like any young dog, Puka could still use some leash training, but at about one year old he has outgrown most of his puppy energy and is always eager to train and please!

All dogs and cats are fostered in volunteer homes with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too. When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years. We start crate training puppies about ten weeks and send our crate training sheet with every adoption. A fence is not required to adopt a puppy. All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. Any medical issue that was treated is fully disclosed. All dogs come with medical records. There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous. Lucy's mom is a purebred Weimaraner, dad was a mixed breed traveling salesman. Mom dog is spayed now. We have better pictures of her we can text if you adopt. Lucy is almost 10 weeks old 3/2/26 and about 13 lbs. We expect her to grow to a medium sized dog, on the larger side This litter will transport to their adopters 3/26-3/28. Transportation is included in the total adoption fee. We have to pay for every animal that we send North on Transport.
