Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Arlo is a fun-loving  pup who is always ready for his next adventure! He absolutely loves to run, play, and splash around in the water—anything that lets him burn off some energy and have a good time. Arlo does great with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion, but he’d also be happy in a home that can keep up with his active lifestyle. He doesn’t seem to mind cats and has been easygoing around them. He sleeps well in his crate at night and settles nicely, only needing a quick potty break once overnight. With consistency, he’s continuing to build great habits. Arlo would thrive in an active home—someone who enjoys walks, outdoor time, and giving him the exercise and attention he needs to be his best self. If you’re looking for a happy, energetic companion to keep you moving and smiling, Arlo might be your perfect match!   Medical Notes: Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 10, 2026, 9:45 pm

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. You know, I am named "Tuffy" but what if I am just a "Softy"?? I am an active and sweet boy and I am kind of a goofball, too. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG puppy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or letting me into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home, so here I am, looking all buff- if you ask me :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I have time on my hands and I am a playful and fun kind of pup. BIG puppy- 65# and growing :) I am learning my manners and am making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Marlene’s journey started on the streets, before her foster was finally able to bring her to safety. Now she’s warm, loved, and ready to find her forever family. This sweet girl is shy at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle personality shines. She’s also won over by food—a few treats go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and connected. Marlene thrives with the companionship of other dogs. Having a confident canine friend boosts her own confidence, and she can happily play with them all day long. She is crate trained and housebroken. Marlene would do best in a calmer home with older children, as quick or unexpected movements can still startle her. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, she’ll continue to blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion she was always meant to be. Marlene is ready for a family who can give her the love and reassurance she’s been waiting for. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Cash is a wonderful 6 yr old, 55 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix boy that been a beloved family companion his entire life but now has found himself under a critical deadline to find a new home or foster place.  For so many years this handsome and loving boy has struggled with his confidence.  Some things in life make him nervous and unsure of himself and it has come to a point that the new baby in the home that is now a walking toddler, is just very unsettling to his soul.  He needs a calmer home with older kids or just adults who can continue to let him shine for them without the distractions of a toddler.  Sweet Cash is such a snuggler and couch potato and yet his home as it used to be is no longer calm and peaceful.  The noises and playful movements of a toddler has made him very anxious and he no longer is at peace and doesn't feel that his home is his safe haven now.  Cash loves people and is great playing with other dogs which makes him so easy to consider in a new home. He is a handsome and loving dog that just needs a restart in life.  His loving mom and dad will miss him dearly but it must happen for the happiness  of all involved...especially Cash.  If you could foster Cash even that is a perfect part time solution.  He must find a play to go by May 15th.  No options.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue if you can help.  ccrtennessee@gmail.com or text 615-661-5333 PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 10, 2026, 12:26 pm

Story
URGENT: Cash Needs a Safe Haven by May 15th   Cash is a beautiful 6-year-old, 55-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has spent his entire life as a deeply loved family companion. Now, through no fault of his own, he is facing a critical deadline to find a new home—or even a foster—by May 15th.   Cash has always had a sensitive, gentle nature. While he has thrived in a calm and predictable home, recent changes have been overwhelming for him. The addition of a baby who is now a busy, walking toddler has brought constant movement, noise, and unpredictability into his world. For a dog who depends on peace and routine to feel secure, it has simply become too much. Cash isn’t acting out—he’s anxious and no longer feels that sense of safety in the place he once called home.   Despite this, Cash is an incredibly loving dog. He is a true snuggler and a couch companion who finds joy in being close to his people. He loves human connection and does well playing with other dogs, making him an easy and rewarding addition to the right home. What he needs now is a quieter environment, ideally with older children or adults, where he can relax, rebuild his confidence, and feel at peace again.   His family loves him deeply, and this decision is heartbreaking, but they know it is what’s best for him. They want Cash to have the chance to truly thrive in a home that fits his needs.   Even a foster home would be a lifesaving solution while a permanent home is found.   Time is critical. Cash must have a place to go by May 15th. There are no other options.   If you can help give Cash the calm, safe space he so desperately needs, please reach out right away at ccrtennessee@gmail.com or text 615-661-5333.   Please share—his second chance could be just one person away. ❤️   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
