Hi, my name is Cora! I am approximately five years old and weigh in at 50 pounds. My people think I may be a Weimaraner mix. I am a super sweet girl. I am a little shy when I first meet you but I warm up pretty quickly. I like to be near my people and will stick to you like glue. I like to snuggle and am all about the love. I get along with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I love to go on walks and am a medium energy girl. I don’t require a lot of crazy exercise. I like to just meander along and smell the roses. There are so many great things to smell out in this big ole world we live in. I walk well on the leash and I am not a puller. I am house trained and crate trained. I ride well in the car and like to be out and about. I am looking for a new after being found on a country road. Goose is a sweet young small dog approx 28 pounds. Goose came from Kurth Memorial shelter. In foster in Tumwater, she was originally more shy with new people but as she gains confidence she is happily going up to strangers to say hello and get affection. Yes she is still not comfortable with nosiy vehicles but she is a very sweet dog! Loves to play with other dogs and was cat tested and did well in Texas. She does love to sleep on the couch if you allow her too, whether you are cuddling with her or not.! lol In her foster home in Tumwater they do not have dogs. She is very quiet in geneeral, although sometimes when you leave and crate her she makes some noise. Otherwise she is very quiet, and never makes noise in her crate when she is sleeping there at night. She is still a puppy at maybe a year old, so she can't be totally trusted yet loose exploring on her own. Yes she is too small for a Wiemaraner but when we tested her photo online it came up with this! • The Coat and Eyes: Her unique taupe/silver-brown coat color combined with those striking light, amber-toned eyes are signature traits strongly inherited from the Weimaraner. • The Ears and Build: Her soft, folded drop ears and slender, athletic frame point toward a sporting or hound mix. Rescue organizations have noted that her build and coloring also heavily resemble a Blue Lacy (the official state dog breed of Texas, where she was found). • The White Markings: The white patch on her chest and her white-tipped toes indicate a multi-breed background, likely mixed with a retriever or terrier breed. Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy!
