Born into a life of breeding in Mexico, Abby's initial years weren't filled with the love and warmth that every dog deserves. Abby's striking appearance, with those profound, beautiful eyes, stands in contrast to the cruelty she once endured. Now healthy, spayed, vaccinated and at a comfortable 68 lbs, Abby has began a new chapter - one of second chances, and hope. Now, amidst her canine siblings and doting foster, Abby is steadily learning what it means to be cherished. But with memories of her past still echoing, Abby would thrive best in an adult-only home where the rhythms of life are gentle, and full of love and understanding. Abby's simple joys? To meet Gunner, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Gunner, or Gun-Gun as we affectionately call him, came to us from a shelter in TX 🤠. He and his brother Mocha were taken in when a welfare check discovered their elderly owner had passed. 💔 His brother Mocha has been adopted but Gunner has waited months for his turn. 😔 He’s an absolute goofball with not one mean bone in his body. 🥰 He just wants to play with all dogs 🐕 and love on all people 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. He leans in towards people and wags his tail furiously, soaking in all the love you give him. 💕 Gunner finds solace in his crate and happily goes in on his own to relax or play with his toys 🧸. He’s quiet in his crate and always keeps it clean. He hasn’t had any 🚽 accidents in a home setting. Gunner is gentle with his toys and walks great on leash 🦮. He loves his sniff walks 🌺 and always has a happy, bouncy trot 🐾! Despite losing his dad suddenly and having his world turned upside down when he ended up in a shelter, Gunner has always remained a cheerful dog. So my foster mom named me Jager (after one of her favorite drinks... JagerMEISTER....) I am not sure why I remind her of drinking... but I definitely prefer a name and a foster home with food EVERY DAY and LOVE with ALL KINDS OF STUFFED TOYS to starving on the streets....so call me whatever you want foster lady, I am OK with it!! I am a busy boy, with the most SWEET nature. I LOVE toys and other dogs and would really be best in a home with a playful friend and kids too? I even like kitties!!! I will promise to be a good boy and love you as much as you will love me :) I am a Weimer/hound mix we think!!! Hard to tell my breed mix, I have the most GORGEOUS SILVER fur but it is very hard to identify what my mom was and what my dad was.... we generally call it San Antonio Street Special- and I am SPECIAL! ADOPT ME, I AM WAITING FOR YOU, I can even bring my OWN TOYS TOO :) Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

He is a goofy playful pup who would make a great companion. Benny is currently located in Texas. Comet is wonderful. Looking to rehome him because my wife and I are unable to give him the attention / exercise he deserves. We have tried for 18 months after our twins were born and we can't make it work. Based on Seattle. Comet is 4 (Jan. 2024). He is a healthy, young, vibrant dog - Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. He is crate/house-trained, goofy, silly, smart, and stubborn. He has gone to a 3-week board and train program and knows place, down, heel, and sit. He responds really well to an e-collar and a prong collar for walking. He is not food possessive. He is good with our kids (2 babies and toddler), as long as they don't pull fur / corner him He will only give a small bark warning and then remove himself from the situation. He has not lived with cats before. He lives with our senior dog and they play regularly. He deserves daily exercise - one 30-60 minute walk or a short run (30 minutes) is great. He loves hiking. He doesn't like swimming in our experience.

Story
Comet is wonderful, but our family isn't able to give him the attention or exercise that he needs and deserves since we unexpectedly had twins in 2022. Comet is 4.5Y, 70lbs, healthy, goofy, smart, and loves people. He's crate, house, and leash trained. Comet went to a 3-week board and train program two years ago and knows all the fundamentals. He responds really well to verbal affirmation, e-collars (to minimize fence guarding in our backyard) and a prong collar for walking. He's not food possessive and tolerates our kids (18M twins and 3.5Y), giving a small warning growl or bark if they pull fur or corner/lay on him before removing himself from the situation. He lives with our senior dog and they play regularly and have never had significant issues. He's never lived with cats. Comet deserves daily exercise - one 30-60 minute walk or a short run (30 minutes) is great. He loves hiking. He doesn't like swimming and can be a bit fearful of new things.
