Story
Cami is a 5-year-old female Labrador retriever rescue who had been abandoned in a chicken coop in the countryside. Despite having a troubled past, Cami is loved by many for her energetic personality and charm that is unique to retrievers. Her ease of approaching strangers and her friendliness to small children is a testament to her warm-heartedness. With the characteristics of a retriever, Cami loves to play ball and enjoys spending time with her owners rather than playing with her friends. She releases her energy by chasing a Frisbee or playing ball, and after long hikes or having fun in the park, she tends to relax quietly at home. If you take her on regular walks, to the park, or hiking, she will prefer to go potty outdoors. Cami is a smart dog who is very affectionate with people, loves food, and understands basic commands such as 'sit' and 'wait'. When walking, she tends to pull on the leash, but she is currently training and gradually improving. In training camp, she is not sensitive to noise, but when she sees people, she may bark at them because she wants to play. She likes to be pet and will always want to stay with you and play continuously. If you're familiar with the pros and cons of retrievers, Cami will be the best companion dog for you. Her adorable personality and energetic appearance will be a great joy to your new family. Your time with Cami will surely be filled with happy moments.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to Jade! She is a 4-month-old, 23LB Weimaraner puppy who came to us with her sister, Lilac, in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Jade is a very sweet little puppy with a loving temperament. She is still gaining her confidence and will thrive in a home that is committed to her basic obedience training and helping her become more exposed to the world. Since she’s a puppy, she will require all the basics that a puppy needs meaning potty training, obedience training, and setting the proper boundaries needed for her to continue becoming her best dog. She has done great with other dogs and would love another dog in the home as a playmate and to show her the ropes. She could also do fine as an only dog as long as she had continued socialization. Jade is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Story
Name: Emma Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black and White Spotty Weight: 46 LB (21kg) Hello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people's attention and being petted. When meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llIlTwDg6Q&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzewDjO_YZjw6S8DZTZAgbu we accept both Canada/US applicants ##2260909##

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo.
