✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Milo🩵 * While at the Gimje Shelter, Milo would sit in a corner with a perpetually dejected expression on his face. When people approached, he used to retreat into the corner out of fear. To prevent his worry and anxiety from getting worse, he was rescued. * With People: Is wary of people and used to nip defensively, but this has improved a lot lately. His behavior is not aggressive, and he is taking training how to overcome it in school. With constant contact training, he's even accepted treats placed in the hands of people whom he knows! * With Dogs: Usually tends to lie down in a corner but occasionally initiates to play by approaching first and playing tag. May find overly energetic dogs a bit overwhelming, though. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as he goes for outdoor potty at our center. * Walks: Goes for walks on the leash well. Sometimes flinches or freezes in surprise during walks, but generally follows well. 💌Special Notes💌 * Nips defensively, but he's improving with continued engagement with Adogs staff! Adogs is looking for a temporary guardian or a forever family who is capable of carrying out desensitization and defensive behavior training for him. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and completely cured from heartworm.

Story
Meet Deulle🌼 Deulle was brought to a shelter with six puppies. Sadly, due to the poor shelter conditions, five of her puppies passed away. Only one pup, #AdogsHossi, survived and was rescued alongside her. • With People: Adores people! Often gazes lovingly at strangers during walks and will lean against you, asking to be petted. If you pet her, she’ll happily roll over to show her belly—a true cuddle bug. • With Dogs: Is a well-mannered dog who gently greets dogs she meets outside. Prefers medium to large dogs to smaller ones and tends to enjoy calm companionship over rough play. • With Cats: When encountering cats during walks, she remains calm and tries to approach them in a friendly, non-aggressive manner. • Separation Anxiety: Does well alone, often playing with toys or napping in her favorite spot. • Potty Training: Is well-trained both indoors and outdoors! Uses pee pads reliably and is very tidy. • Grooming & Handling: Doesn’t love baths, but tolerates them well. Is also calm during drying. even thogh she is scared of the sound. Is a total pro at tooth bushing, brushing, and nail trimming. • Walking & Leash Training: Generally walks nicely and matches pace with her handler. Occasionally, pulls on the leash a little when she spots a dog she wants to greet. • Car Rides: Tends to have no carsick. ❗❗Health Status❗❗ Heartworm negative upon retest. 💌Special Notes💌 • Knows the commands: “Paw,” “Other Paw,” “Nose Touch,” “Sit,” “Wait,” and comes when called. • Rarely barks but may whine softly when she wants to go outside. • Has a food allergy to Fucoidan insect-based kibble and has shown allergic reactions like hives. Please monitor treats and food carefully. • Is sensitive to sudden loud noises like a hair dryer or objects dropping, so a calm environment is ideal. Foster's Instagram account : @deulle_2

Story
Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA & OR, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees they charge the rescue but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. Wilson’s story is brutal. Our foster mum was at the shelter to rescue a dog who got privately adopted & we did not want to leave the shelter without saving someone. She found Wilson in a cement run all wet, crying & crying for help to get out. He was listed as 10 years old but did not appear to be 10. He was so extremely sad & our foster mum broke down crying with how pitiful he was & just wanted to be loved & get out of the scary shelter in CA. Despite the fact he needed out we could not bare to leave him there. We rescued this beautiful little lad & thank goodness we did when we did because it was evident that someone had been very cruel to Wilson. Without his outstanding foster mum, this would not of happened for Wilson. Wilson who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as his foster mum in CA & his foster mum in WA here does too along with us. After we rescued Wilson he was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. The absolute insanity to think this baby doll ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Wilson just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, he went & laid down & slept & slept & knew he was now safe. In his foster home he eats clean. Fruits, vegetables, grains, raw meat & other proteins along with supplements. He also adores a good treat. Wilson is a very soft gentle soul, he is so easy his foster mum said considering what he has endured. His foster mum said Wilson is a very sweet dog & loves his humans once he knows them but does not want his head touched at all until he is comfortable with you. We don’t know if someone was hitting him on the head. This boy will look at you with so much gratitude & admiration. He also loves to be with his buddies & just lay with them or do whatever they are doing. But will play & play with some dogs. He loves everyone he meets after he knows them & feels comfortable with them. It’s imperative that Wilson come to you & smell you first. He also enjoys snuggling up on the couch & will jump on the couch & spend his day relaxing. He enjoys sleeping on the couch & sleeping in bed with you at night. His foster mums along with us still cannot believe someone would be so cruel & neglectful to Wilson. Wilson’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. He enjoys going out into the backyard in his foster home & having a wander around. Wilson has been great with his baths because he started having them with us in his loving foster home the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He has also started getting used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will just let you dry him. He loves his foster mum & dad & his foster friends. He has put on a good amount of weight since being in his loving foster homes. Wilson rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window. Wilson is a wonderful walker on his collar & leash & loves going on many walks. He absolutely hates harness’s & makes it very clear to not put one on him. A collar is no problems at all. We are looking for a forever home for Wilson where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. Wilson is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Wilson has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. He absolutely needs another dog in his forever home for him to thrive. Wilson is roughly 6 - 7 years old. He is 16.4 lbs & is perhaps a westie maltese mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, now neutered, had a dental scale & polish along & had 10 teeth removed. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we do not redo them only rabies as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. Wilson has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children in the rescue but we absolutely do not recommend children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Wilson was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Wilson’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Wilson potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Wilson has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Wilson & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Wilson who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Wilson has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
Meet Sasha!Sasha is a resilient little lady with a heart ready for healing and love. Weighing in at around 20 pounds, this sweet Westie mix came from a hoarding situation and was understandably a bit reserved at first. But with time, patience, and kindness, Sasha is already becoming more social and showing her gentle personality. She’s been an amazing mama to her pups, and now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished in a forever home. Sasha is already using the doggy door at her foster home like a pro, and she’s learning that people can be kind and the world can be safe.Sasha is compact, quiet, and full of potential. With a little love and stability, this girl is going to thrive.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 22, 2025, 6:15 am

Story
Welcome Boscoe to CCPAL Rescue. Boscoe is a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with maybe Schnauzer. He is a lower energy and a little shy. His teeth are white and clean as his adult teeth haven’t been in too long. He is good on a leash and bigger than the other two at 15 pounds. He has nice long legs so he would be a great walking companion. He is very content being beside someone and doesn’t have to be in your lap. He came from a homeless person that had about 6 dogs. The homeless person had rescued all as strays. A good Samaritan stepped up to help and called CCPAL Rescue. CCPAL took in all the homeless person’s dogs except one she wanted to keep. We will be vaccinating them and spaying them to get them ready for their forever home. This boy is not a shedding dog and is very very affectionate. He would probably look Schnauzer if he had the cut. His coat is a little course and not as soft as the schnauzer coat. He would be fine around kids but I think her best home would be with a home that someone wants a lap dog and a quieter home. He would be a great one or two person dog. He will be great company and will not require too much exercise. A small condo type yard would work for him. He is good in a crate and with other dogs. He is more vocal than his sister Merry. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transportation fee is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Olivia from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 6 month old female Cairn Terrier mix.  I weigh approximately 13 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
