Story
Dante is a 2 year old neutered male Terrier Husky Mix located in Camarillo, California. He weighs around 70lb. He is good with people and would do best in a home with older kids and possibly bigger dogs. He is a bit of a rough player. He is not good with cats or little dogs. He is a very sweet dog! He is active and enjoys biking, hiking, and walks. He has basic training as well as fun tricks and is crate trained. He is brave but easily distracted while out and about (i am are working on that). He would do great with dog sports, or an active home but needs a confident handler. Story
Buddys a really sweet and loving dog. Hes pretty laid back but also energetic at times. Doesnt bark or growl much at all. Friendly with other dogs and is good with cats too. He doesnt have an aggressive demeanor, hes generally loves all people and animals. Doesnt play with toys but likes affection, attention, treats, and some good walks. Some of his favorite activities include going to the beach, and car rides preferably with the window down, being playfully pet and interacted with, and simply just hanging out on the couch, in bed, or anywhere really. Overall hes a great dog and is just the cutest little guy. He doesnt have any special needs. Im looking to finding him a loving owner who will give him lots of care in a safe and comfortable home. If youre interested please reach out to me, Buddy would love to hear from you! character remaining, characters, remaining characters, remaining characters, remaining characters, remaining characters, remaining characters, characters r

Story
Meet Baroque!DOB: July 2012Weight: 35 lbs Disposition: Friendly, Chill, HappyHistory: August 2024 we were recently contacted by the Humane Society indicating that Baroque had been surrendered to them by his owner. We went and picked him up the next day. We picked up a morbidly obese Baroque (weighing 63 lbs when he should weigh 35 lbs) with skin issues dues to negligent care. Originally he was found as a stray in Kern County rescued by TBL in January 2012.Best Home: Chill home with an active individual that likes to go for walks and maybe to the beach. Baroque may be elderly, but this Classic Barker has some good years left to live up a leisurely life kicking it with his human and getting in his daily exercise.Amazing Qualities: Easy-going, fella who deserves an amazing life after his original humans treated him like disposable trash.ORIGINAL POST: It is no accident that our happy-go-lucky and expressive Baroque earned himself that name which references an era when expressive styles were dominant. As exhibited by his photos, Baroque has a true joie de vivre (zest for life) that is inspiring: spend a few moments with him and you will leave smiling and feeling better about yourself. Baroque's tongue is always out in a lolling smile, and he hasn't met a person yet he doesn't love. He took a jog around the block with one of our junior volunteers (pictured!), and he adores other dogs as much as he does people. About a year and a half in age, he is ready to share his zest for life for many, many more years to come. Need a cheerful, energetic companion who will help you celebrate each day? Baroque is definitely the man for the job.If you'd like to meet Baroque, please visit http://www.thebarkinglot.net/adoption-application. Story
Mia is the most loving baby. She’s 7 months old and was gifted to us at 1 month. As mentioned, she’s still little and tends to like to teeth on items but teething toys are her best friends. She is absolutely playful! A bit shy and scared at first with other humans but when approached with love, she begs for attention. She’s been raised around our other dog, Belgian malinois, and they are inseparable. Also has been raised around 4 adults, two kids, and a baby. Mia is trained to pee on her mats around our home and is obedient when taken to the park and off the leash. We will be moving away ends of October where pets are not allowed and we need to find a forever home for her. This is very tough on my family and would love for Mia to be well taken care of in her new home.

Story
Please come to our adoption event to meet them: Saturday 05/28 from 4:30 pm to 6: pm at PetSmart in Clairemont, 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 **Please read all the way to the bottom about our organization, and how to procced to adopt. Nachos is a wonderful mellow young male fur 4 leg boy with lots of love to give you!! he has this wonderful soft & wired hair that makes him look so cute!!😊making him a hypoallergenic or low shedding boy:) He is very playful; and gets along with all dogs. He plays so much with his buddy an Australian Shepherd named Lady. However, at the beginning he is a little shy - once he is comfortable he will be very playful. He is crate trained. He is a cuddle bug once he is comfortable. He has the ideal size as well - not too small neither too large:) As with all rescued fur kids; he is going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. He hasn't been around cats since we rescued him; therefore, we do not know how he will be cats. Nachos will make a great family addition to any family:) He was found next to the death body of another dog; we assumed a sister - he was crying for her - and wasn't let her be there left alone - The hybrid is a people pleaser and will, therefore, respond well to training while enjoying the attention and the chance to make you happy that comes with it. This Schnauzer Terrier Mix is entirely compatible with children because they demonstrate both playfulness and patience. Moreover, these dogs are quite easy to socialize. Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date yearly DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
