Stella is a very special dog with quite a story to tell! Rescued in Gambia, West Africa, Stella was not always treated kindly and as a result is missing a rear paw. Does it slow her down? No. Has she traveled farther around the world than many people? Yes- all the way from Africa to Arizona, and in search of her happily ever after! Stella lived with her former family for five years and reportedly did well with kids and other dogs. She was house and crate trained in her former home and was described as a playful girl who likes car rides and enjoys swimming. “Stella loves to play football, American or European. When it comes to balls, she’s obsessed! She`s a good dog; she just needs a family with a yard.”Stella has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Stella has already traveled so far- let’s make the journey to her forever home a short one! Ask to meet her today!!
