Story
This sweet girl has raised her puppies and is finally ready for a life that’s all about her. Her days of motherhood are behind her, and now it’s time for fun, adventures, and being spoiled like the baby she deserves to be. She loves going on walks and does great on a leash, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. She also rides nicely in the car, so she’s ready to tag along wherever the road leads. All she wants now is a family to love her, take her on adventures, and remind her that the best part of life is still ahead. 🐾💛 Great either way little kids and other dogs. Zona is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. She came to us carrying a precious surprise — nine beautiful puppies. 🐶💕 And what an amazing mama she was! She raised every one of her babies with love and devotion. Now it’s finally her turn to be the baby. This compact little girl is on her way to getting her figure back and is looking better every day. She walks beautifully on a leash, making her the perfect walking buddy. Most of all, she truly loves everyone she meets. Sweet, gentle, and ready for attention, she’s soaking up all the affection she can get. After giving so much love, she’s more than ready to receive it. 💗 He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Bagheera is a petite 5 year young terrier mix with a tender heart hiding behind a brave little front. She may be a bit vocal when first approach in her kennel, but once she’s out, her body softens, her ears relax, and she begins to seek gentle affection, even trying to curl into your lap once she feels safe. Still learning to trust, Bagheera thrives with patient, experienced guidance and blossoms with kindness and calm handling. She walks nicely on leash, knows “sit,” and has shown she can coexist with other dogs when given proper structure. This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a teen-and-up home willing to help her build confidence and show her that love can be steady and safe.
