Meet Zack – 1 Year Old - 35 lbs- Your New Best Friend
If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, and easygoing young dog, Zack may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
At just 1 year old and 35 pounds, Zack has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and a sweet, gentle nature. He loves playing with other dogs, giving kisses, and curling up for cuddles after a fun day. His favorite place is wherever his people are, and he quickly wins everyone over with his soulful eyes and loving personality.
Zack was rescued after being found wandering along a busy road. Thanks to a kind-hearted person who found him and our partner rescue, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, he was given a second chance at life. Today, he’s thriving in his foster home in Danbury, CT.
His foster family says Zack is a joy to have around. He lives with four dogs and gets along wonderfully with all of them, especially his Husky foster sister, who is his favorite playmate. He also lives peacefully with two cats, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet home.
Zack loves being part of family life. Whether you’re going for a walk, spending time in the yard, or relaxing on the couch, he’ll happily join you. He’s affectionate and enjoys being near his people, but he’s not needy. If you’re busy or need some quiet time, Zack is perfectly content relaxing in his crate or on his bed until you’re ready for more snuggles or playtime. He has a wonderful “off switch” that makes him an easy companion to live with.
Zack is already off to a great start with his training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and comfortable relaxing in his crate for 4 hours without crying. He does not have separation anxiety and settles nicely when left alone, making him an easy dog to fit into everyday life.
Like any young dog, Zack will continue to blossom with positive reinforcement training, helping him build confidence and become an even more amazing companion.

Zack has overcome a difficult start in life, but he hasn’t let it dim his joyful spirit or his ability to love. Now, all he’s looking for is a family to call his own.
