Story
If you’re looking for a dog who believes personal space is highly overrated, Pierre may be your guy. This sweet boy is 100% a Velcro dog. He enjoys playing and exploring, but he also likes to keep tabs on his person and know exactly where you are. And when playtime is over? Pierre is a fantastic cuddle buddy who is more than happy to settle in close.
Pierre has a sweet, gentle way of asking for attention, too. He isn’t a loud or demanding guy—he’ll just give you a little “you know you want to pick me up” whimper when he thinks it’s time for some love. And chances are, he’s right.
He is crate trained with a little treat encouragement and is doing really well with house training. He’s also been sweet and respectful around the other dogs he’s met, happily fitting in without needing to be the center of everything.
And then there are those ears.
We’d like to tell you Pierre will eventually grow into them, but we’re beginning to have our doubts. Somehow, they seem to get bigger every day—and they only add to the ridiculous amount of charm packed into this affectionate little guy.
Pierre is playful, loving, cuddly and happiest when he can be close to his people. If you’ve been looking for a little shadow with enormous ears and an equally enormous capacity for affection, Pierre might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
Pierre is fostered in Gilbertsville (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be able to head home with a family on or after 10/10/2026.
