 This approximately 1.5-2 year young lady is quite the talker. She knows the sound of any treat bag- human or not, and loves to play! She is very comfortable lounging in a recliner, or even on your lap if you allow her to. She was surrendered into our care due to her previous owner being homeless. She has lots of love to give, and lots of life to live out. She seems to want to play with cats too roughly, so cats are a no go. Some dogs seem to be okay, but young kids are inknown. She has an interesting appearance and we’re not sure what she is, especially when you take her random grey whiskers into account (which is not age appropriate, let’s just say)  If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts.  Please visit our website for additional information. Very nice to meet you, I'm Janeane! I'll be 1 year old at the end of this year, and currently weigh about 40 lbs. Humans weren't always nice to me, so when I first meet strangers, I bark and growl at them to let them know that I'm nervous. But I have two things I really love - treats and other dogs! So, if you're patient and have those two magic items, I'll work through my anxiety and show you my silly, sweet, cuddly side that makes everyone fall in love.I sleep like an angel in my crate overnight, I haven't had an accident in the house yet, and I know not to pull on the leash when we walk. I'm fine sharing my toys and food with humans and other dogs, aren't touchy about my tail/paws/ears/etc (after I'm comfortable with you) and crave affection so you better be okay with giving scratchies! I haven't met any cats yet. Younger kids can make me nervous, they move fast and that's scary and I growl to have them calm down, but I've been great with teens. I've lived with big and small dogs, and I do *NEED* another dog to show me the ropes and help me understand that I'm okay.
