Meet Sara…. Sara is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Whippet – Black Lab Mix; she’s petite with a dainty bone structure vs the more solid bone structure of a Lab!! She’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At about 4 months, Sara weighs 15 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 35-40 lbs. This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. She is thought to have been born around November 24 2022. When joining our rescue program, Sara appeared happy, calm & gentle, very friendly, and eager to move on to a better life!! Sara is very sociable, playful, and is great with dogs. She may be a bit too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Sara is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Sara to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Perhaps you’d consider adopting Sophia along with Sara…the girls are sisters!! Sara is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet the dashing Kentucky Brownie (Speedy). His foster family says he is such a sweet boy! He has big time love for play and enjoys a good romp in the yard and finding the biggest stick to carry in his mouth. He loves playing with his toys and is great at catch! We're working on leash walking skills and attending weekly obedience training that helps alot! He knows how to sit, down, leave it, and off! His recall is also great. We're working on heel and other commands and he is super motivated to please his family with praise and treats. All the four kiddos from ages 2-9 are in love with this beautiful dog. Kentucky is gentle with all the kids and enjoys the hugs and attention. He wants to make dog friends, but no cats. He is potty trained but needs reminders to go to the bathroom while outside because he is so excited about his walks and playtime that he sometimes forgets! After all the play, he is the best cuddlebug. All he wants is to find a warm home that will appreciate all the big hugs and love he has to offer. Could that be you? Hola cmo ests? My name is Quintana! I was a sweet little pup found on the side of the road by my foster with my two siblings! Now I've been spending time playing and growing up here at God's Dogs Rescue! All my playmates and I have so much energy and want to spread all the fun around! Now I'm 2-years old and ready to jump into a family I can play and love! I am a Whippet/American Blue Heeler mix and medium-sized (20-59lbs). Meet Cassidy the Cassanova! This chivalrous, pale white, puppy-eyed dog with his heart-shaped nose will win you over in an instant! Cassidy is a wholesome dog who had a rough time before, being alone in a neighborhood and scavenging for his life. Life threw many curveballs at him, being an isolated dog on hot pavement in 100+ weather, but he kept going! Nothing would stop him from finding a new home! Cassidy has a timid but loving personality! He is shy around loud noises and intense reactions but loves when people come up to him for pets, hugs and kisses! Cassidy is a smarty pants!
