Story
Meet Kia! Kia is a black Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a bright spirit and an even brighter future! This sweet girl is full of love and happy energy. She’s always ready for playtime and would love a family who enjoys games, toys, and fun adventures together. Kia has that perfect medium puppy energy — playful and lively without being overwhelming. She walks well on a leash and is eager to learn, making her a wonderful companion for continued training and bonding. She’s dog-friendly, great with kids, and would thrive in a home where she can be part of the action. Because she loves to run, romp, and explore, Kia will need a fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs and enjoy plenty of playtime. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic pup to grow up with your family, Kia is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of tail wags into your home! Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Nala is a lively, affectionate dog who greets everyone with a wagging tail. She loves playing with other dogs and enjoys toys, making her the perfect companion for an active home. Nala is calm around cats and pays them no mind. She would thrive in a home with another dog and needs a securely fenced yard to safely expend her energy.  REQUIREMENTS:   Fenced Yard, Another dog       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
