Story
Lil Kangaroo has a name that suites him to a T!  This little guy is tenacious in facing some hard things in life and we find him to be spunky and courageous  Adding to this courage, he is also a confident, intelligent boy that has endured the hard times when his human family could struggle no longer and keep him. He was reluctantly surrendered to our rescue.  What we have found is a wonderful dog and and we have delighted in see what a truly beloved boy he is.  This dog would fit in anywhere, anytime, anyway.  Lil Kangaroo is a 2 year old, 27 pound Jack Russell mix boy that is living in a foster home with two big foster fur brothers that don’t have anything ahead of Lil Klinger.   He can and does run with the best of them. He’s housetrained, loves car rides, happily accompanies his foster dad on his long walks and the active adventures his human dad loves to go on.  This boy, Kangaroo loves to explore and live life to the fullest with lots of new experiences. He embraces all the new things and enjoys playing with his toys and is ALWAYS ready for playtime.  If you are looking for a couch potatoe then Klinger would qualify only on short term moments.  He is a great and active breed that makes a wonderful family dog that you will spend time with and actively seek the exercise time that he needs.   He would be a wonderful dog for a  young family, young couple or a  young single person that is a runner, an explorer and a dog owner that might even want to do some agility activities together.  Of course Kangaroo is neutered , UTD on all vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm prevention with a clear fecal and wormings done. We admit, we are partial when it comes to Lil Kangaroo. He is one of the cuter and definitely the nicest small dog you could find or consider for your life partner. Don’t let this one get away!  If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let’s start this ball rolling for his new forever committed home and family. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 19, 2024, 8:26 am

Story
Tahoe! Tahoe is approx 4 mth old (reported DOB of Oct 8th, 2023) male jack russell/heeler mix, so we estimate he will be a medium mix at maturity. Tahoe is built like.....well, a Tahoe. He is the biggest boy in the litter and loves to be in the middle of everything. He is a social butterfly and wants to make sure he does not miss out on any fun. Tahoe and his littermates joined us from a commercial breeding farm when they failed to sell. While it is not an environment we would want for any pup he seems to have been well kept and is very social with people. The puppies all loved the farmer's kids and were used to being around them. They are very outgoing with all people they meet and are playful and energetic. Like most young puppies he is a dog who will need a committed adopter prepared to exercise him mentally and physically, continue his socialization with people and other animals and work with him on training, including housebreaking and basic manners. He is willing to please and seems to enjoy treats so training should be lots of fun. Tahoe's adoption fee will include his neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchipping. He is also up to date on preventatives and deworming. Interested in Tahoe? The first step is to complete an application online at https://www.dogtownrescue.org/online-adoption-application We will not set up a meet without an approved application on file and require a scheduled appointment to meet any of our dogs Dog Town Rescue 1553 Bethlehem Pike Hatfield PA 19440 PA Kennel license #12275

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Hi my name is Roxy! I was taken from a home that could only be entered by first putting on a respirator, and gloves along with my half-sisters Isabell & Smokey. The 3 of us are so thankful to be with 2nd Chance! I am a very sweet gal who loves affection and kisses, I have LOTS of energy, and Smokey and I LOVE to play together. Smokey and I have lived together all of our lives, so for that reason we must be adopted together. We require a fenced yard.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!April 15, 2024, 12:36 pm

Now Danny is an old dude and he could stay at the ranch HOWEVER Danny does not like other fur friends :( He said he wants a human all of his own and he doesn't want to share them!! He would like someone who lives a 'quiet' lifestyle, doesn't have a lot of those 'little humans' who want to zoom all over the place and touch him!!If you would like a quiet guy that just wants his own human than Danny is PERFECT!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   **Courtesy Post - this dog is not with DPR, but we were asked to help network him to find him an amazing home!**  Meet Sparky! Sparky is a 15 year old Jack Russell who is looking for a loving home where he can live out his golden years. Sadly, his only human recently passed away. He definitely misses his dad, but we are hopeful that we can find Sparky another wonderful home. Sparky is comfortable around wheelchairs and walkers and would be a great choice for another senior human seeking companionship. He has some spunk left and enjoys playing and going for walks, but he is also content to sleep in his bed near his human. He is temporarily living with a family member, but unfortunately Sparky does not like the other dogs in the home and would be much happier being the only dog (like he has always been). He has lived with a cat in the past, and was fine with that. Sparky is neutered, is up to date on vaccinations and on heart worm and flea/tick preventative and was recently seen by a vet.  If you are interested in adopting Sparky, please email us at DelawarePetRescue@gmail.com or fill out a 'Dog Adoption Application'   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2024, 5:02 pm
