Gus is a high energy fun loving guy. He is great with people after he gets to know them. Great with kids. Never any concern there. We purchased Gus and his brother Gus from a local family when they were puppies. They did great together in the beginning but as time passed they started becoming aggressive towards each other and on occasion they would fight. The last fight ended them both needing medical attention. Because of this we think it is best to rehome Gus. He doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats since the fights with his brother. He has also become anxious. He would do amazing in a no pet home where he gets all the attention.

hi Benji Boy! This happy boy is a 4 yr old, approx. 22 lbs. Jack Russell Terrier. He was found as a stray and brought to the local animal control shelter. Sadly, his owner declined to reclaim him so we scooped him up for the rescue. Beni Boy, true to his breed, is a happy and energetic pup! He is a true life of a party - always excited to see our volunteers, eager to explore and spend time in the play-yards. He will bring lots of laughter and joy to his forever home. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. Benji Boy had good dog meets in the animal control shelter and he would need to meet any resident dogs. Dolly is an adorable 14 week old female puppy. Her Mom is a Tri-colored Corgi (16 lbs) and her dad is an 8 lb. black and tan Irish Jack Russell. (Mom & Dad are in the last 2 pictures) They are both purebreds. She was one of four in the litter and has been lovingly raised in our home on our horse farm. She’s very energetic and very social! She should be well under 20 lbs. full grown. I will only re-home her to a home that has another dog for that reason. I would also prefer a fenced yard since the breed is very energetic and needs room to run and play. The Jack Russell and Corgi’s are a unique breed! Her brother is also available. If they could go together, that would be amazing since they are very bonded but I will separate them. We are working on housebreaking them and it is going well. There will be a reasonable re-homing fee. Thank you for your interest.

Luke is our happy JRT mix boy that was found with his brother in a small town in Tennessee and soon they were living under the desk of the small shelter Manager because there was absolutely no kennel to hold the two pups.  Just weighing 15 pounds, this boy is going to be that special small guy that can fit in just about anywhere and with anyone.  He loves attention.  In fact he craves attention and needs some reassurance that someone is going to be there for him for a long time.  These uncertain times  have certainly affected everyone and especially the dogs that have found themselves abandoned and now homeless.  He is a great little guy and does well with other dogs and loves children.  He is still working on the inside house manners that he will perfect  with just a little more time and some loving patience from his human teacher.  Luke loves to be held and carried around.  He thinks he is a Chihuahua but he doesn't act like one for sure.  He is pretty good on a leash and he is crate trained and truly working on becoming an exceptional little dynamo that will keep you young at heart and also a heart that will fill  yours with his adoration and love.  If you are interested, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is ready and more than willing to travel to a city near you!!!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 11, 2026, 1:13 pm
