Bailey's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Meet Bailey- the perfect companion pet! 🩷 This is Bailey and she is a wonderfully sweet and scruffy puppy. She is approximately 30lbs and about 9 months old. She is a Velcro dog and will follow you everywhere. 🔸 She is house trained (uses bell on door to get our attention). She loves to play catch. She’s energetic and enjoys a nice 10-15 minute walk (still working on leash training) with lots of play time with toys at home and in the yard. She’s extremely smart and needs lots of stimulation. Like any young dog she loves to chew on bark and sticks in the yard. She eats well but slowly, takes her time and will walk away from bowl only to finish her meal 10 minutes later. She does very well around kids and women, but she is a little shy around men. She hardly barks, but will whine sometimes in crate (still working on crate training). If you would like to meet Bailey, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. We reserve the right to refuse placement of an animal for any reason

Story
Teddy was seen in a neighborhood for at least a month darting and running around but no one could catch him!  Finally a lady got him, fed him and let him stay in her backyard over night till we could grab him. He is a happy little guy and doing quite well even though he was displaced for so long. He is not chipped and no one has come looking for him. He weighs about 12-15 lbs and is extremely cute!  He is good with other dogs and loves attention! ##2629025##

Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Palmer is a little guy with a big personality—about 15 lbs and 1.5 years old. His adoption fee is $300, though we’re open to adjusting that for the right home. He’s been with us for 8 months, patiently waiting for someone to see past his initial nerves and give him the loving home he deserves. Palmer doesn’t warm up right away and may bite if he feels overwhelmed, but in a calm, predictable environment, he’s made great progress.Though he was originally labeled a bite risk, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly he can adjust—it only took a couple of days for him to bond with our new kennel techs. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. Palmer still shows stress around new people, so he’ll need someone who understands his boundaries and can give him space to decompress. He would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with little foot traffic. He can be picky with dogs and would likely do best as the only pet, though he’s done well with three calm, respectful dogs currently in our care.If you have a calm home and a patient heart, Palmer could be the perfect fit. Since we do not observe these animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, we ensure the following:Spay/neuter proceduresMicrochippingAll vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (and treatment if necessary)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam, scheduled 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note: Adopters must live within an hour of our facility and be at least 21 years old.Do you have any questions or would you like to schedule an appointment?

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Wishbone is an adorable 1½‑year‑old boy weighing 10.5 pounds, and he’s the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. He truly doesn’t meet a stranger—his sweet, outgoing nature shines the moment he trots up to say hello. He was originally adopted from us last year but was unfortunately returned due to his adopters separating. None of this was his fault, and despite the upheaval, Wishbone has remained cheerful, affectionate, and eager to love again. Our veterinary team noted that he is in great health, and his adoption fee is $400.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Wishbone, we’d be happy to help. He’s a joyful, affectionate little dog who’s more than ready to find a forever family who will adore him. 🐾✨

She is playful, sweet and very kind, enjoys cuddling and getting pets, and is already showing what a loyal companion she will be. Despite the unexpected start, Dolly has remained trusting, affectionate, and ready to bond with a forever family. She deserves a home where she is truly wanted—not as a surprise, but as a cherished member of the family.
