Story
Rio is a distinguished gentleman. He’s a 5 year, neutered, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. He’s pretty neutral to other dogs in public with a little space, but will need more work on this. I provide free training support to get him settled and continue his progress. He may be able to have some dog pals in the future with enough work, & possibly can be acclimated to cats due to low prey drive. Rio loves to cuddle but also has a sense of independence, so he’s not clingy. He’s always ready to play! We really think that he’d love a home with children, he’s done fantastic with them coming and going in his pet sitter’s house. Rio is very smart and is a quick learner. He comes with free training support, obedience and tricks. He knows that people count on him for unconditional love and laugher. Will you be his new family?

We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Check out Brittany enjoying her first night in a foster home!    Brittany is Looking For: Her forever home where she can chase a ball, learn new tricks, go on lots of new adventures.
