Story
Silas is a 7 year old Pointer/Setter mix. He's a sweet and beautiful boy who we adopted from a rescue three years ago. Silas thrives in a quiet environment and would do very well with a single owner or couple. He's not comfortable around kids because they make him agitated. He does have a treatable bowel condition that requires medication that is working perfectly. We're willing to pay his new owner to help cover the cost of his medication (around 300 per year). This special guy needs a calm home where he can get a lot of snuggles.

Story
My name is Danica and I am a 4 month old puppy that God painted in a very special way.  My black and white markings make everyone notice me. I have black splashes on my face that stand out and then you add my strong desire to be your shadow in life and to love intensely the people who give me shelter and affection, well you have a special canine companion.  I love and embrace all living creatures and all people no matter their size or loudness (I live around 3 very busy young boys).  I have not been exposed to lots of things in my life so I have some shyness that will disappear with experience and time.  I am building my confidence every day.  I was born to a Pointer mix dad and a Bulldog mom and there were 9 of us originally. I just want a nice soft dog bed, a reliable family that keeps me on a schedule that is predictable and who will love me unconditionally.   I want to learn and I want to be a girl puppy that you are proud of.  I will be a 50-60 pounds girl when I am all grown up.   I am ready for a home TODAY!   I promise to make you a great friend and companion for a long, long time. Please email to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to know more about me…and yes there are brothers and sisters just like me!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 30, 2023, 12:16 am

Story
Our pretty little girl is called Cora and what a loving and sweet little Pointer mix girl she truly is.  She loves playing with other dogs and sleeping in the bed with her foster mom.  This little girl was one of 8 puppies left in an outdoor pen and basically abandoned by the former owner when they loved.  Neighbors stopped by for 3 months to feed and water the puppies and sadly that was all.  They grew and grew and eventually started fighting over the little food they had and the small pen was just so confining. One of the great Critter Cavalry Rescue foster moms heard of their plight and went to get them out of their hot, and confining pen that offered no exercise and not enough food daily…and NO HUMAN LOVE.  Now Cora and her siblings are seeking homes where they can spread their wings and bask in the love and care of their new families.  Cora is remarkably loving and fun and seems to not have been emotionally stunted by their early months of growing up abandoned.  We know that she loves other dogs!  She plays with a 45 pound black lab male that is a year old and “Her and Bo are like two peas in a pod”.  They absolutely love playing together, tug of war, chasing each other in the yard, or just sleeping in the dog bed together.  Cora is good with cats and loves the young children that are in the home, even with all their noise and high energy play.  She is almost there with her potty training and she is good with being in the crate at times needed.  Cora relates to people and loves them.  She always needs to be right by someone and loves to lay on your feet. She has learned not to be possessive of her good or toys as she first started out being.  We totally understood the possessiveness and now she is relaxed and eager to share.  This pretty girl and her siblings have come such a long way.  We are so happy for them to be in out foster care and receiving the love that they so readily deserve.  If you really want to adopt a “rescued dog” then Cora is the total definition of a rescued puppy! If you are interested in making her your own please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com!!!
