Name: Polo         Best Guess for Breed: German shorthaired pointer mix Best Guess for Age: 1.5 years as of September 2025       SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight: 57 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Polo is Looking For:  Adventure! Polo looks like a mix but take it from us - that dog is a prime example of the sporting breed German shorthair pointers are. Keen nose, high intelligence, and boundless energy - check, check, and check! He's up for plenty of mental and physical enrichment - advanced agility training, nosework, lots of running in parks, or lots of of long excursions out in nature or any combination thereof will make Polo a happy, tired dog. AND all those will help bond Polo and his humans intensely while having so much fun. He and his forever family will be very lucky to have each other!  What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has spent time in foster care Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
