Story
Date of birth: 10/6/25 Estimated adult weight: 45-50 lbs Meet Chip: A Walking Fashion Icon with a Bright Future Chip is a 4 month old, 18 pound Pointer mix boy with a gorgeous white coat adorned with adorable spots along with black and tan highlights. This walking fashion icon is as handsome as he is smart, and he's ready to grow into the amazing companion he's meant to be! All Puppy, All the Time Chip is all puppy and is learning that adjusting his puppy instincts brings rewards. He's very bright and picks up things very quickly, which makes training sessions exciting and productive. He's food motivated, which is helping tremendously with his training and showing just how eager he is to learn and please. Training and House Manners Chip is house trained and crate trained, and going in the crate actually helps him calm down, play with his toys, and take a nap. He understands his safe space and uses it well, showing a level of self awareness that speaks to his intelligence. Working Dog Instincts Chip has working dog instincts that lead him to higher levels of curiosity and interaction than are always comfortable. He's inquisitive, alert, and deeply engaged with the world around him, which is a wonderful quality that simply needs proper channeling and guidance. A yard to run in and burn off energy would be a dream for this active, curious boy! Loving and Affectionate When Chip has time to relax and settle, he shows his loving and affectionate side. He's a sweet boy who is learning to balance his natural instincts with the calm, connected moments that make the bond between dog and person so special. Best Home Fit Chip would benefit from calm confidence and structured training and guidelines to be his best self. He needs someone who understands working dog instincts, appreciates his brightness, and is committed to giving him the structure, exercise, and guidance he needs to flourish. A yard to run in would be ideal! If you're looking for a handsome, bright, loving boy who will reward your patience and training with loyalty and joy, Chip is waiting to meet you! Apply today!

Story
Bonnie-Poodle/Dalmation female DOB 12-31-23 (Feb. 2026) Harlequin Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Bonnie came to Rescue through a Prison Training Program. She's been taking classes every day and doing quite well. She's crate trained, has obedience training, husbandry and grooming skills. As she's been in a Prison, we do not know about children or cats yet, but she will be tested when moved to her foster home. If you want to know about the Dalmadoodle... A Dalmadoodle is a cross between a purebred Dalmatian and a purebred Standard Poodle. This pairing is intentional, not accidental, and is designed to balance: The Dalmatian’s loyalty, athleticism, and alert nature The Standard Poodle’s intelligence, trainability, and often low-shedding coat The result is a dog that is smart, people-focused, active, and deeply bonded to its family. Temperament is one of the biggest reasons families are drawn to Dalmadoodles. They are: Affectionate and people-oriented Intelligent and eager to learn Loyal to their family Alert without being aggressive Playful, but capable of settling with proper routine Dalmadoodles tend to form strong bonds with their owners and do best in homes where they are included in daily life. This is not a breed that thrives when left alone for long periods with little interaction. Because of their intelligence, they do especially well with owners who enjoy training, structure, and engagement. Bonnie's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting her ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.
