I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereWe have learned that Gianna is very sweet even though she can be extremely shy at first. She came to the shelter with little training and is working on all of her skills including potty training, leash, walking and socialization. She takes many of her cues from the dogs in her foster household and would greatly benefit from being adopted by a household with a resident dog who is patient and playful. She takes her time to trust humans and is shy of most things in the world.  She enjoys spending time outside and has figured out how to use the dog door in her foster home. She is independent and likes to spend time by herself, but this may also be as she is wary of unfamiliar humans. She is still figuring out that toys are fun to play with and has a preference for chews and kongs for enrichment.  It will be fun to see Gianna build her confidence and thrive in her forever home as she learns her good dog behaviors and to trust her humans. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire. Learn more hereThis 7-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua mix may be tiny, but she’s got a brave little heart. Cori is a gentle, shy girl who takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s an absolute darling. She’s content being held, gets along well with other small dogs, and even handled her nail trim like a champ! Cori is a tripawd but she gets around just fine. Her foster reports she's potty trained, crate trained, and doesn't mind when left alone. This low-maintenance gal would love a cozy spot to relax and would thrive in a patient, quiet home where she can build trust at her own pace. A dental is on her to-do list, but this sweet senior is otherwise healthy and ready to find her snuggle buddy.
