History: Reynolds is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Reynolds is such a sweet lovable puppy. He adores cuddling and being held. He loves playing with toys as well as playing with the other resident small dogs. He is very smart and learning new things daily. Some things he learns watching the other dogs and some I have taught him. He is doing good on potty training seems to understand that being outside is where he should go but at only 4 months old doesn’t have the bladder control to hold it I don’t get him out in time. Anyone that adopts him is going to be very lucky as he is pretty wonderful and adorable.

History: Razz is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Meet Razz (aka Raspberry, Razzieboo, Booberry, BooBoo Baby) This little man is as sweet as a juicy berry. He’s happiest near his people. His foster mom works from home and he’s perfectly content laying in her lap all day. Razz is doing great learning puppy manners and potty training is going smoothly. Razz sleeps in a kennel all night without a peep and always keeps it clean. razz’s ears have a mind of their own and always flip backwards . It’s especially cute watching him run down the hall, ears a flapping! His favorite pastime is stealing shoes and dish towels. He runs with his short little legs and brings them to his kennel, so proud of his stash! Razz is great with kids and other dogs. He hasn’t been introduced to cats but we think he’d do great with them as well. Razz just has the funniest little personality and is excited to meet you!

History: Loxley is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Meet Loxley… This sweet 7-year-old breeder release girl is truly one of a kind. She is hands-down the easiest and most loving breeder release I’ve ever fostered, and she’s blossoming more every day as she enjoys the good life she always deserved. Loxley is doing great with potty training and is almost fully trained. She sleeps quietly in her kennel through the night and has a calm, gentle presence that makes her a joy to have around. She has quickly learned to appreciate the simple pleasures—a full belly, soft beds, cozy naps, toys, and plenty of affection. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is wonderful with children and adults alike. Her sweet, easygoing nature makes her a perfect fit for many types of homes, whether you’re looking for a loyal companion or a loving family dog. Loxley is ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her. She will make a truly wonderful addition to a very lucky home.

We are looking for a foster home for a sweet momma dog and a separate home for her four 8-week-old puppies. Mom has done a great job caring for her babies, but  now she needs to have her own life and the babies need to have a safe, stable place to stay together in pairs of two while learning to live in the world that is now safe. Support, guidance, and supplies can be provided — all we need is someone willing to open their home temporarily and help this little family get a strong start! If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. Story
Ms. Coco is a breeder release that is loving the home life and all the wonderful things it has to offer. Coco is 10 lbs of pure silly poodle. She is coming out of her shell and discovering all things good, like couches, tennis balls, and loving touches from humans. She did have all BUT 5 teeth pulled but that doesn't stop her from eating crunchy food or chewing on doggie toys. She has a cataract in one of her eyes but that isn't any issue for her, she sees all the leaves outside and chases them when they blow in the wind ( like I said she's silly). Coco is fine with cats and really would prefer another dog in the house to show her the routine, however, the more I spend time with her, I realize that if she were an only dog she would be ok as long as her human was near so she can check in on them. Coco with going potty is rather easy, if she hops off the couch, she should probably go out to potty. Really that is her cue, just getting off the couch, she really loves the couch that much,  I can only assume it's because it is way better than the kennel she spent all of her 8 yrs in before coming into rescue. Coco is very sweet; however, she is shy until she gets comfortable with a new person but that is typical of dogs in new places and new people. Coco loves chin scratches and head rubs and will almost climb in your lap if you start, so be prepared that if you start, you may never be able to stop because she loves it that much. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
