He bonds closely with one person and becomes anxious when separated, so he’d do best with someone who's home most of the day or can include him in daily activities. Ideal Home:A calm household where he can be the center of attentionPreferably an only dog or with a very low-energy dog. Someone home more often than not (remote worker, retiree, etc. ) Patient, understanding adopter willing to continue potty training and build his confidence Social & Playful:Gets along well with other dogs and cats.Can be a little possessive over toys or treats with other dogs, but has never bitten. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
