I’m Joey—a 3-year-old Yorkie with a big heart, a tiny body, and very impressive snuggle skills. My specialties include: following my humans everywhere, supervising from my favorite perch when a lap is unavailable, and looking adorable at all times. I've learned so much about how to “dog,” and honestly? I think I’m nailing it. I love going for walks with my friends, exploring the yard, and soaking up all the affection I can get. I’d be happiest with someone who’s home a lot because I really enjoy company—and I bond hard with my people. I’d also love a friendly dog buddy to show me the ropes (not required, but I’d give it two paws up!). A fenced yard would be awesome for sniffing and potty breaks, but I do great on a leash too, especially if the outdoor spot is nice and close. I’m a curious, cheerful little guy who’s eager to please and even more eager to love. If you’ve got an open lap and an open heart, I just might be your perfect match. ❤️ Adoption fee: $725

Story
Dumpling is an adorable, affectionate, and easygoing companion. He likes to cuddle close with his foster mom, and gets along great with all other animals as well as respectful children. He has fun playing with toys and romping around with the small, younger dogs in his foster home. He walks well on leash and redirects with treats when he gets excited and vocal about other dogs on leash. Dumpling is crate trained and doing well with house training on a consistent schedule. He was just recently neutered so working on breaking the habit of marking, but he's already making great progress. His forever family could consider having him wear a belly band just in case, which is working well with verbal redirection in his foster home. His family will also commit to continuing to apply an eye ointment to his right eye, which has limited vision - he handles it like a pro and isn't negatively impacted by that vision loss at this time. This sweet boy is looking for a loving forever home that will continue to allow him to socialize, get daily exercise, and appreciate all the love he has to give. Adoption fee: $695

Armstrong can be shy, skittish, and slow to warm up, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and playful personality shines. He absolutely loves to run and play, especially with another confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes. A securely fenced yard (minimum 6 feet) is a must, as Armstrong is a known flight risk. He is not a candidate for apartment or shared-wall living. This boy thrives with minimal kennel time and would do best in a calm home where he can continue building confidence and trust through consistent training and routine. In the right environment, Armstrong blossoms into a loyal, loving companion.
