This friend has just arrived to us as a stray. When animals are found as strays, our staff will search for an owner. If no one comes to reclaim the pet, we will begin looking for a new home. Unfortunately, we rarely have a background on stray animals. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with other animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we are often unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Delilah aka momma yorkie is 7 years young yorkie mix who is looking for a soft place to land. Her and her daughter Daisy were found abandoned by their family when their dad went into assisted living, they were left in the cold until a good Samaritan brought them to safety. While we would love to keep these girls together they are not bonded and can be placed separate homes.    Delilah aka Momma yorkie is a hoot and knows she deserves to be queen of the couch. She loves to snuggle up next to you or chill on a comfy bed. She gets along with dogs and cats. She is only 9lbs so please keep in mind she needs more frequent potty breaks than a larger dog    Daisy is a sweet soul who needs lots of loving. She is a 3 year old yorkie mix and is perfectly content with a warm cozy spot to lounge and sleep the day away. She is a low maintenance girl.
