Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs to their new home leaving the evening of January 15th 2026 to the east coast from where we are located here in Southern California. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Mugi to our trip for the right home! As always for our adopters peace of mind we never ask for anything up front! His adoption fee, along with his adopting families share of travel costs will be due the day we arrive in person with Mugi ultimately finalizing his adoption 💙 Mugi was born on 11/21/24 and is a Maltese/Yorkie mix with the sweetest little soul. He is leggy yet petite, weighing 10.8 lbs fully grown and sitting at a healthy, ideal weight. He has a hypoallergenic coat, so shedding is not a concern, and he keeps himself looking extra handsome with his soft, well-kept fur. Mugi is fully vetted and ready to find a home all his own. He is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and has had a dental cleaning and polish with teeth that were in overall great health. He also had a wonderful, thorough exam with our vet and has been fully cleared for adoption 😊 He does beautifully with other dogs and loves to run and play, but his greatest joy truly comes from his person. Whether there are other dogs around or not, Mugi is happiest when he’s close to the one he loves most—especially when cuddles are involved. He is incredibly affectionate, loving, and sweet-natured, with a gentle presence that instantly makes you feel chosen. Mugi is not a barker, though he may occasionally alert you to unfamiliar noises. He has excellent house manners and settles beautifully in the home. He is crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night, but he would transition easily to a bed beside yours—or in bed with you—if that’s what you prefer. He is highly adaptable and truly happiest when you’re happy. He does well on leash and is learning to enjoy his walks more and more each day. He’s wonderful on road trips, loves his spa days with our groomer, and is always a joy to handle. He is a total cuddler—his little head pops up anytime your hand is low enough to reach him 😂 He adores toys, especially soft, crinkly ones, and has the cutest way of entertaining himself. Mugi is great with men, women, and children alike. He isn’t high energy and naturally matches the rhythm of his day, making him a wonderful fit for many different lifestyles. He is smart, listens well, and genuinely aims to please. His prior family lived very busy lives, and as their schedules continued to increase, they felt he deserved more time, presence, and connection than they could consistently give. They loved him deeply and wanted his heart to always be full, so they entrusted us with finding him the very best home and family possible. Mugi is the kind of dog who becomes your constant companion, your comfort, and your quiet joy. He will be your friend for life and will absolutely make cuddle sessions a cherished part of how you start and end each day 😊 Adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of his adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/_mugi This covers all veterinary costs, months of care since being with us, the training we have personally done with him, and his grooming expenses. Don’t miss out on this sweetie pie 🤍

Story
Lizzie was adopted from a hoarder situation. She is up to date with all shots and is now healthy. Unfortunately they pulled all of her teeth. But that doesn’t stop her from eating. She eats everything. She loves pork chop bones. She is fine with large dogs and children as long as they don’t stay too long. She needs to be in a home where she is the only dog and no children so she can get 100% of the cuddles. If you are home most of the time would be even better. She has very high anxiety. She is on two medication. She is a sweet pup but she has issues being brought up in a home with 82 other dogs. She will go outside to go to the bathroom but you need to watch for the signals. She will use a pee pad most times. Ive had her for 3 years and she still hasn’t accepted my other pup. She still snips at my husband and grandchildren. Lizzie is 11 years old and runs around the back yard like she is 1. She loves riding in a car. She loves sleeping next to you. She needs to be loved.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Delilah aka momma yorkie is 7 years young yorkie mix who is looking for a soft place to land. Her and her daughter Daisy were found abandoned by their family when their dad went into assisted living, they were left in the cold until a good Samaritan brought them to safety. While we would love to keep these girls together they are not bonded and can be placed separate homes.    Delilah aka Momma yorkie is a hoot and knows she deserves to be queen of the couch. She loves to snuggle up next to you or chill on a comfy bed. She gets along with dogs and cats. She is only 9lbs so please keep in mind she needs more frequent potty breaks than a larger dog    Daisy is a sweet soul who needs lots of loving. She is a 3 year old yorkie mix and is perfectly content with a warm cozy spot to lounge and sleep the day away. She is a low maintenance girl. Like her momma this dainty girl weighs in at 12lbs and will need to be let out a couple times a day for potty breaks with little dogs come little bladdersVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2025, 6:25 pm
