Sir Bentley Fitzsimmons a/k/a Bentley is and adorable, sweet and fun loving 9 yr old 11 lbs ( he's a bit chunky) Yorkie rescued from a local shelter. Bentley LOVES to play fetch more than anything, he also likes tug of war and playing with other small dogs. He is housetrained and will scratch at the door to tell you when he wants to go out. He was given up due do to landlord issues and we suspect that is because he has a very large bark for such a very small dog! He is heartworm tested negative, vaccinated, neutered, chipped and had a much needed dental and tooth extraction. He does not mind cats at all. Bentley seeks a local home with another small dog. Furniture privileges are fully expected. Fenced yard is preferred but not required. Due to his size, no small kids please. Local Inquiries only! Must haves: -Must be willing to play fetch a lot, and I mean a lot! -Must be willing to buy lots of toys -Must have another small dog - under 20 lbs -Must reside in Metro Atlanta Deal Breakers: -Apartments/Condos, anything that shares walls with the neighbor -Out of state or non metro Atlanta -Small kids -No similarly sized playful canine companion

SWEET, ACTIVE & FUN:  Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 9 lbs. Hi, I’m Cassius!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me – they are so much fun to hang out with!  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever!  I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts that were around my size and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me as I’m very small. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy, friendly guy who’s full of curiosity, energy, and fun!  I love sniffing around to see what’s going on and am always ready for my next adventure.  Everyone says I’m very sweet and friendly, and I’m told I’m pretty cute, too!  Despite my active nature, I was wonderful for my bath – calm, relaxed, and completely unfazed by the whole experience.  With my cheerful personality and love for life, I’m sure to keep my family smiling. / Energy level: 5-7, so for a little dog, I like being active.            • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, people, and just about anything that involves having fun! Playing, being active, spending time with my family, and enjoying all the good things life has to offer are some of my favorite ways to spend the day. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived, and that has been done for me now, so my mouth is fresh again! I’m a fun-loving wonderful pup looking for a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 10, 2026, 12:25 pm

I have papers, but that didn’t get me a forever home. The breeder released me and I changed homes twice. I spent a lot of time out in a garage in the first home, because I didn’t get along with other dogs. Then I went to another short term home for the same reason. My foster mom says I’m not aggressive or bossy. I actually shrink when another dog challenges me. All I want is to be in Y.O.U.R arms so I can cuddle. Yes, I’m a big cuddlier. I, also, smile as you can see. I am missing an eye, but the other eye is great. My birthdate is Sept 7, 2017. I'm pretty tiny at 9lbs, so older children (12 and older) would be necessary. I’m so ready for a forever home. I do hope Y.O.U. are that home.

I was at the county shelter in Dec of 2024 as a stray. My eye was fine at that time. With my micro-chip I went back home. In March this year the owners surrendered me with my left eye hanging out. I'm a pure breed, but that didn't stop me from being neglected, or worse. My foster rushed me to the vet to see if I was in pain. Apparently the pain came before the eye bulged out. Fast forward I've had it removed, along with a dental and I'm ready to go. I'm pretty much blind in the other eye, but that doesn't stop me from finding my way after a few days. I can even come and go outside without a problem. I'm only 6 years old so I've got lots of time for someone to take good care of me, and in return I will give them love, loyalty, and lots of good times. I'll be groomed this week (week of 4/5) so I'll be very handsome. I get along with other dogs. I crook my head when you address me which is adorable!

I set a record for being at the county shelter. I came in as a stray in April 2025, then again in August 2025, then again as a stray in March 2026, and the owners surrendered me two days later. The first thing people ask is "what's wrong with him"? There's nothing wrong with me. I'm an active 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier, pure breed too. I wasn't neutered during all those years so I could use a brush up on potty training. I do calm down, but I want to play and race around with another dog and I L.O.V.E. my food. I get along fine with other dogs at rescue. I'm pretty small at 10lbs so no small children please.
