Windy is a 3.5-month-old Yorkie mix(we are guessing on this) weighing about 5 pounds. She is a sweet, playful little pup with a curious nature and a gentle heart. Windy enjoys playing with toys and exploring her surroundings, then happily curling up for cuddle time when she’s ready to rest. Windy can be a bit timid when there’s a lot of new or busy activity, but she does best with a calm, patient approach and quickly warms up once she feels safe. She’s still learning the ropes of house training and currently uses pee pads. Windy is also comfortable with a crate, which will make continuing her training much easier. Windy would thrive in a loving home that understands puppy training and is ready to help her grow into a confident, happy little dog. If you’re looking for a tiny companion who is equal parts playful and snuggly, Windy could be your perfect match! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. Her adoption fee is $300. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
