Story
Alexis is a sweet, beautiful 6-year-old cat looking for her forever home! This lovely stripey gal is slow to open up but once she's comfortable, she is so very sweet. She loves getting head scratches and receiving pets. She's also quite chatty and always has something to say when humans are around! When she's in a playful mood, she loves "hunting" her wand toys and will even drag them out to me when she declares its playtime! Alexis is a curious cat, and likes to monitor what's going on in the house by walking the perimeter in between naps or sitting in her window hammock, watching the world go by. She's a little sensitive to sudden or loud sounds and movements; she will run back to her safe place if something loud or too fast happens around her, but then comes right back out after a few minutes.A medium-energy lady, she has her moments of being playful and curious but for the most part she wants to sleep or be near a human and chill together while you work, read, or watch your favorite shows. Alexis currently lives as the solo animal with one human. A slow, quiet home will be ideal for Alexis. She will really bloom with compassionate, patient people who understand that it will take time for her to adjust to a new home and human(s). Because she seems sensitive to fast movement and sounds, she will definitely do best in a calm home that doesn't have a ton going on all the time. She did previously live with another cat and was apparently fairly unbothered. She hasn’t met any dogs or children yet, but older, gentle tweens/teens would probably be fine.If you live a fairly quiet life, and are eager to help a sweet, gentle best friend gain the trust and confidence she needs to thrive, then maybe this is the perfect time to be “a little bit Alexis”! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The Avenger Brothers were part a local TNR project from STMA area. They all arrived with upper respiratory infections when they were trapped and struggling to thrive. While being cared for by the foster, they have thrived and are loving the safety and security of a home. They are looking forward to having a home to call their own and putting the outdoor life behind them forever.  Thor is very shy and will need a patient and calm home, probably no young kids. He takes a long time to warm up to people and will likely not want to be touched for quite a while as he settles in. If you're looking for a guy who is true to the cat personality and has the 'I will come out' or 'I will be touched on my terms' type; well, he is exactly that! He will provide you with entertainment from afar and will sit and watch (maybe judge you) for a long while.  He does require another cat in the home to help him adjust and learn to trust.   Applications available online https://mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 1:34 pm

Story
Bunny is as sweet as they come. She first appeared at a colony looking for safety and a little kindness, and it quickly became clear that she couldn’t see well and was thought to have an upper respiratory infection. When in fact, she had entropion in both eyes. After receiving surgery, she’s feeling much more comfortable and ready for her fresh start! Despite everything she’s been through, she’s incredibly affectionate—one of her favorite things to do is flop right over and offer her belly for rubs, trusting you completely once she feels safe. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her soft, loving personality to come through. She’s a special girl who’s ready to find a loving home where she can continue to blossom. She absolutely adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with feline friends to keep her company. Because of this, she must go to a home with another cat or cats. If you’re looking to adopt Bunny with a friend, please inquire because we have suggestions for a great Bunny buddy! To fill out an application or to get additional information, please email coveredwithcatfur@gmail.com. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Bitty Kitty Brigade may promote a cat being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat in this posting is NOT a Bitty Kitty Brigade cat, and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

Story
We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy but was unfortunately left a little too young and will "knead" and suck blankets/ soft fabrics. He can get very affectionate when he starts to knead. He has a sensitive stomach and needs gradual food incorporation. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household/ kids but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl)
