Banner is a sweet boy; he seems to bond more with one person more in terms of obedience. Always friendly and eager to please his family. He has started to become aggressive towards our older small dog. He gets along with our medium dog but is very bossy towards him. I know Banner is an amazing, loving dog and will make a great addition to someone looking for a great companion for someone. He enjoys sniffing and exploring the outdoors or just sitting with you getting pets. Mika came to us as a surrender, not her fault. She is a very sweet but very timid dog. She is especially scared of men but has warmed up to a few male staff and volunteers. She walks nicely on the leash, and seems to get along with similarly sized dogs. She is also reportedly housebroken (and very clean in her kennel). Mika will need at least two meet-and-greets (maybe more) to ensure she is comfortable before going home.

Hubert came into the shelter with two other dogs (Charlotte and Cleo), and he and his “sister,” Charlotte, seem to be about 6 months old. We are unsure about their past, as they came in as strays. Hubert is a very playful, active young guy who still has a lot to learn and grow. He can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but warms up quickly when treats are involved! He is still learning to sit, but he's getting the hang of it quickly and is highly food-motivated, which makes him fairly easy to train. Hubert is looking for a home where he can build confidence, continue training, and eat all the snacks.

Charlotte came in along with “brother” Hubert. She is estimated to be around 6 months old, but like Hubert, we can’t know for sure! She is a very active, playful young pup and seems a bit more confident and outgoing than her buddy Hubert. She is quite the cuddle bug, and doesn’t seem to understand personal space. She is learning to sit and just about everything else, as she doesn’t seem to have any previous training. Charlotte is looking for a home where she can learn manners, continue her training, and get lots of cuddles.

🥁DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!! INTRODUCING INDIA'S LIL' "HOP" FAMILY!!! Last week we posted a few candid photos of India's LABOR DAY....on Labor Day7️⃣!! And, for those of you who have been following our little Hop Orchard 🍃 crew, we first introduced you to 1-1/2 yo India and a 6 month old puppy we assume is from her first litter. Like India and West, we named the new crew also in the "Ale Inspired" 🍺theme. Meet: 🤍3rd born: Bodhi(zafa), a boy with light, almost white coloring They all started out at just under a half a pound at birth and today all are now over a pound - doubling in just a week! India started her birthing at 14.7 lbs and was down to 12.5 lbs after giving birth. This is probably very close to her regular weight to give you an idea on size. We believe her to be a Brussels Griffon mix. We don't know who dad is, it could be the same father as West had -truly we don't know. But we know that India is a very, very good mama!! She takes the best care of her babies and they are hitting every milestone 🐾so far! If you are interested in applying to adopt India, Lucille, Stella or Bodhi, they will be ready to go home on November 2nd. We will collect applications and not review them until the last two weeks in October. Bodhi and his siblings will be current on vaccinations for their age, Microchipped and adopted with a contract and deposit to ensure Spay by 6 months of age.

Meet India ❤️ Remember that little snaggle-toothed mama found acres from the nearest main road, deep in the hop orchards with her horribly injured puppy? She's thought to be only about 1½ years old—a darling little Brussels Griffon mix, probably with some Chihuahua thrown in. And she is SO special. Calm. Gentle. Completely loving. The kind of little dog who seems to melt into the people caring for her. And that ridiculously cute snaggle tooth? Enormous brown eyes? We're obsessed. ❤️ But India brought something else with her from those hop fields. She was pregnant. Very pregnant. India started her birthing at 14.7 lbs and was down to 12.5 lbs after giving birth. This is probably very close to her regular weight to give you an idea on size. They won't grow up loose beside a road. Their mama won't raise them from the end of a chain. India is a very, very good mama!! We will collect applications and not review them until the last two weeks in October. India will be spayed, current on vaccinations and Microchipped.
