Story
Hi, I am looking for someone to please adopt my puppy suki. She is the most sweetest kindest dog I have ever had. But she does have a problem with learning to potty train and hold it. I’ve tried to potty train her I sadly don’t have the time to anymore. It breaks my heart seeing that i am the third owner of her and i just wanted to give her another chance. But like I said I don’t have to time to take care of her anymore. I need someone who can take the time to teach her and give her lots of love that I wasn’t able to. She is a very great companion dog. She cheers you up when you’re down and knows how to do it.

Story
Poseidon is a 4.5-year-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix with the perfect blend of gentle loyalty and goofy charm. At about 82 pounds, he’s a big, lovable companion who is equal parts soft fluff and steady calm. Poseidon is an affectionate boy who loves his people and enjoys nothing more than going on walks and being part of the daily routine. Indoors, he’s a low-energy, relaxed guy who is happy to lounge near you and soak up attention. He happily chills on his bed and on the floor; he does not like getting on furniture unless you ask him to. Outdoors, his Great Pyrenees side shines — he loves patrolling the yard and taking in all the sights and smells. A fenced yard isn’t required, but it would absolutely make him feel like he’s living his best life. Poseidon can be briefly vocal when someone comes to the door — he takes his job as “house guardian” seriously — but after a quick alert bark, he’s back to being his chill, friendly self. True to his livestock guardian heritage, he needs slower introductions to strangers. He sheds quite a bit (Pyrenees will be Pyrenees!), but his sweet personality more than makes up for the extra vacuuming. And if you really want to win him over, his favorite treat in the world is a peanut-butter bacon stick. A few things to know: Poseidon is not a fan of nail trims or vet visits. He’ll need an adopter who can help keep him calm beforehand, and he does best with medication or sedation for nail care. With patience and a gentle approach, he does very well. Poseidon would thrive with someone who appreciates a loyal, steady companion — a person or family who understands large-breed dogs and wants a buddy who is affectionate, protective in a healthy way, and easygoing around the house. He would do best in a home with teens or older, as he is big and can be pawsy and mouthy. If you’re looking for a big, loving dog who wants nothing more than to stroll by your side, nap at your feet, and be your loyal companion, Poseidon is ready to be your new best friend.

Story
If you do not already know all of your neighbors, this social butterfly will make sure you do very quickly as her proud paw rent. Meet Layla. Layla is a two year old, medium energy Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 50 pounds fully grown. She has the softest coat you can imagine, the kind you cannot stop petting, which works out perfectly because Layla is a certified belly rub addict who soaks up every bit of affection. She adores meeting new people, especially kids, and greets everyone like a long lost friend. While she can happily coexist with another calm, easygoing dog, Layla would also love being your one and only. Small animals and cats are more exciting to chase than to cuddle, so she will need a home without them. Layla was found as a stray in the rural foothills of North Carolina, and she is still learning some manners like keeping all four paws on the floor and resisting the temptation of counter surfing. The good news is she is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and already knows her basic commands including sit, down, and come. With her affectionate nature, joyful spirit, and sweet personality, Layla is ready to bring so much love into a lucky family. Could it be yours? ##2603915##
