Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE STARTING WEDNESDAY 6/24 *** Meet Burdy — the gentle giant with mismatched eyebrows and a smile that will stop you in your tracks. At 40+ pounds and only about three months old, this white-and-tan brindle boy is still figuring out just how big he is (fair warning: watch toes). He is the only tan pup in the litter and the most distinguished-looking of the bunch, with one white eyebrow and one black — a signature look for a truly one-of-a-kind dog. Burdy would rather be at your side than anywhere else, though he has a special soft spot for his littermate sister. He loves rolling in absolutely everything — grass, rocks, flower beds, you name it — and is endlessly entertained by fluffy toys and tennis balls. He is kennel-trained for eating and sleeping and is nearly solid on his sit command. He also interacted wonderfully with a resident Labrador, respectfully taking her cues as the elder dog. But at the end of the day, his favorite place is wherever his person is. If you are looking for a big, happy, tail-wagging shadow, Burdy is your guy. *Sleepover feedback: " It was great to have Burdy for a sleepover. He is adorable, soft, and smart! He did well with our 80 pound, 10 year old Weim- Burdy got him to play and run around. He loved to go on walks, was great in the car and enjoyed playing fetch. He slept in his crate all night without a sound and enjoyed naps in his crate as well if he needed a little quiet time.

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE STARTING WEDNESDAY JULY 8th *** Hi, Leg-olas here! My foster mom says my name is Legolas for two reasons: I’m soooo handsome and I’m all legs! Gangly in the funny adorable way, if I do say so myself. I’m great with kiddos and adults and once I meet a new dog they’re my new best friend! I love playing with stuffies and Kongs and can get the “cutest” zoomies when I’m playing outside. I’m verrrrry good in my crate! I go in (sometimes on my own, sometimes with a small treat) with the command “let’s go to bed” or “go to bed”. I don’t have any accidents while in my crate but I’m still learning to go outside during the day when I’ve free rein in the house. I get to playing so hard with my foster siblings that sometimes I forget. I do sleep quietly through the night in my crate at night and am good going outside to “potty” in the morning. I recently experienced being a passenger on a trip to my foster grandma’s house and after I settled in, I was SO good in the car! I laid right down and went to sleep.  I’ve been learning some new commands like “sit” and I’m starting to work with a leash but I haven’t been introduced to a harness yet. I am a happy go lucky, fun loving pup looking for my family. I can’t wait to meet them. If you’d like to meet me, make an adoption appointment today!
