Story
Virginia is for....lovers of the Great Pyrenees breed and soft hearts who are ready to give this shy gal a place to bloom and flourish! Virginia is an adult weighing about 85 lbs full grown. She has a coat that will be breathtaking with some time and care and is a gal who is looking for loving people to help build her some confidence. She is good with other dogs and could get along with many though is rather independent and does not seem to need other dogs to be comfortable. She would love room to move around and explore as her breed is used to being working dogs. Virginia would probably prefer a home with older children if there are any as she may shy away from too much noise and chaos. She does well on a leash and is learning so much about the kindness of human hands since arriving at the farm. This gorgeous oversized snowball of a gal will be waiting for you at the farm. Don't be long now!

Story
Olivia and George arrived from a shelter partner in rough shape. It is obvious they had been on their own for a while, as they were really matted and had burrs in their beautiful white coats. We got them to the groomer right away and cleaned up and boy did they shine! Olivia, who is about 116 lbs is a bit quicker to warm up, but both dogs are really eager to please and be with some nice humans who will take care of them. Olivia is HW+ which will be treated by the rescue, and George, who is about 95lbs is neutered. They are both microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. They would love to be adopted together. Please apply for this pair of sweet giants at apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Olivia is a fabulous happy girl who is called "Pony" at home because of her happy prance! She knows sit, come, and lay down and is super smart. Found stray, she takes more time than most dogs to get comfortable in a home .... but once she realizes you're her person, she will do her happy prance and get right in your lap for pets! Olivia's cautious nature does have her go on guard at new people ... She will bark a few times to alert you of a change in the home (so no apartments or townhomes). If it is a stranger or someone she's not comfortable with, she likes to retreat to a safe spot away from the visitor! MUST HAVES: a fenced yard as she is still a ball of nerves on a leash so is being walked short distances with double leashing for safety * A playful dog who can help her continue to build self-confidence * No small children as their busy nature keep her on alert * Time for at least one DAILY brushing. Olivia loves toys and bones - she will empty a toy basket one by one, picking them out and relocating to her bed! She is house and crate trained - and indifferent to cats! We are working on filling out her figure: she ideally should weigh about 50 pounds.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there my name is Thor and I am one of the sweetest dudes you will ever meet. I love my play time with the other pups at my foster home, but my favorite thing to do is crawl in your lap and give kisses and love. I am the largest in the group of pups at my foster home but I am also the most gentle. My foster Mom can't believe I haven't found my forever home yet because I am such a handsome and smart guy. I would do great in a home with another dog or two and a few kids to run around and play with. I am gentle but like all pups, I do sometimes get excited and jump around so I would need to be supervised with very small children. I am progressing very well at doing my business outside of my pen so my foster parents feel that house training will come more easily to me. I am just a super fun young man looking for my forever family to love, because I have tons to give! If you think I might be a good fit for your home and pack submit an application today so that my foster parents can tell you more about me :).  (JJ/KG*)       Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:  $250.00      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 24, 2024, 11:49 am

Story
Sully is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees. He is 93lb, intact, great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Loves to be outside and will do anything for a cookie. He was raised with goats and chickens for first 6 months of his life, then became a pampered inside dog. My allergies have become progressively worse making it difficult to have him indoors. He needs a large fenced yard to roam and a loving home. Would prefer he goes to a home with someone familiar with GP breed.
