Story
Introducing Harry and Marv, named after the iconic Sticky Bandits—because these two fluffy troublemakers are here to steal your heart, your snacks, and probably your seat the second you stand up. They’ve perfected the art of being both giant babies and perfect cuddle buddies. Marv is the more reserved of the pair, preferring to take a moment to observe and make sure the world is safe before diving in. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes incredibly sweet, loyal, and quietly affectionate. Marv’s talents include: • Approaching new people with cautious curiosity • Leaning in for soft, slow snuggles once he trusts you • Exploring the yard at his own thoughtful pace • Tolerating baths but making it known he won’t be booking the experience again anytime soon Shared Hobbies • Discovering every corner of the backyard • Taking long naps after very short bursts of enthusiasm • Cuddling (a mutual top priority) • Following their older foster siblings around like shadows • Thankfully still not understanding how the doggy door works He’s sensitive, intuitive, and has a calming presence that makes him easy to bond with. Marv is a male Great Pyrenees mix with an estimated date of birth of 9/15/25. As of 11/22, he weighs 20 lbs.

Story
This beautiful soul has been on an incredible journey, enduring a challenging stay at the shelter, waiting and hoping for a loving forever home. Despite his stunning looks and heartwarming personality, Apollo remained overlooked for months. He's a dog who's seen the worst of it yet still holds onto hope and love. Finally liberated from the confines of the shelter, Apollo's enthusiasm for life knows no bounds. His heart is filled with joy, and he's ready to share that boundless affection with a family who sees the gem he truly is. Apollo's a big boy with an even bigger heart. He adores the company of other dogs and revels in playtime. However, he thrives on structure, guidance, and plenty of activity. Smart as a whip, Apollo's intelligence and quick learning skills will astound you. This sweet boy, at around 3 years old and weighing between 60-65lbs, deserves a home that matches his spirit—a place with experienced, loving humans who understand the needs of a larger dog like him. Living in Houston, Apollo has bravely battled heartworm, a common challenge in these parts. But fear not, Scout’s Honor is ensuring Apollo receives the best care. Whether you choose to adopt him now or after he's cleared, we'll continue covering his medical expenses, ensuring he gets the care he needs. He's a fighter and with your support, he'll come out stronger than ever. If your heart swells at the thought of giving Apollo the home he dreams of, please consider fostering or adopting him. Start the journey by filling out an application at www.scoutshonor.org. Your love and compassion could be the key to unlocking Apollo's happily ever after. Story
2 year old Nana is one of the sweet and loving pups we have in our care. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She will really do good in a home with children, she loves hanging out with kids, and listening to their commands. Kids have to be respectful of dogs and be familiar with dogs to adopt our pups. Nana was found by her foster mom when she was picking up her kids from school. Incidentally, a lady reached out to her claiming that she used to feed Nana and her brother and two other dogs when the family was dropped off to her neighborhood. Her description and identification matched Nana to the T. The lady requested our rescue to take her brother and the two other pups she is feeding, as she wants them all to find great homes, away from the outside stray lives. Nana knows a lot of commands and is extremely well behaved. She is very quiet and is one of the easiest pups her foster mom has cared for. She walks well on leash with her foster siblings and hangs out with them, without any problem. She is also kennel trained and has no resource guarding tendency, as you can see from the video, how she eats with other dogs. Nana lives with 2 other dogs and a kitty, and 2 kids in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Nana is about 2 years old, and currently weighs 52 lb. She will become a medium size dog. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Nana's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
Hi this is Augustus. Augustus is a Bernese mountain mix. The vets opinion is with Labrador or German Shepard. He is 2 years old, up to dates on vaccines, heart worm negative, and on heart worm prevention meds. He is neutered and microchipped. He does have a lot of energy and like a lot of attention. He loves car rides, and playing with his toys. He sleeps well in a crate for bed time with no issues. He does love walks and tries to chase squirrels. He can sometimes be a bit reactive to other dogs on walks but has never been aggressive. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I hope to find him a home with love and patience.
