Story
2 year old Nana is one of the sweet and loving pups we have in our care. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She will really do good in a home with children, she loves hanging out with kids, and listening to their commands. Kids have to be respectful of dogs and be familiar with dogs to adopt our pups. Nana was found by her foster mom when she was picking up her kids from school. Incidentally, a lady reached out to her claiming that she used to feed Nana and her brother and two other dogs when the family was dropped off to her neighborhood. Her description and identification matched Nana to the T. The lady requested our rescue to take her brother and the two other pups she is feeding, as she wants them all to find great homes, away from the outside stray lives. Nana knows a lot of commands and is extremely well behaved. She is very quiet and is one of the easiest pups her foster mom has cared for. She walks well on leash with her foster siblings and hangs out with them, without any problem. She is also kennel trained and has no resource guarding tendency, as you can see from the video, how she eats with other dogs. Nana lives with 2 other dogs and a kitty, and 2 kids in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Nana is about 2 years old, and currently weighs 52 lb. She will become a medium size dog. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Nana's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Koya! In Filipino, Koya means "older brother," which is the perfect name for this older pup. He was found alone with his sister after their mother went missing. We can’t say what happened to their mother, and we can’t say what they went through when left alone — but we can say that Koya is the best brother to his sister, Kita. Within just a few days, Koya has made great progress in his behavior and trust toward humans. At first, he was terrified to walk, but now he walks on a leash and runs around with his sister. He might be reserved at first, but with some patience and care, he’ll warm up to you and start asking for pets by pawing you with his paw. He might even play a little game of the “zoomies” with you once he's comfortable. Koya also loves to play with toys, especially stuffies. He loves to run around with his sister, but he is also very dog social and will happily play with all dogs. It might take a little time for Koya to fully come out of his shell, but when he does, he’s truly a sweetheart who loves to give kisses. This pup has had a tough start in life, but he’s now ready for a fresh beginning. Are you ready to join him? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of has been sponsored by a generous donor and covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

MEET "FINLEY" TEXAS, HOUSTON LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS EMAIL: BigPawsK9FosterHouse@gmail.com AVAILABLE FOR: FOSTER TO ADOPT/ADOPTION NAME: "FINLEY" DOB: 12/5/24 BREED: ANATOLIAN SHEPHERD RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK MIX GENDER: FEMALE SIZE: LARGE HEALTH: GOOD NOTES: Finley is a stunning blend of gentleness and intelligence, with a calm confidence that draws you in. At 7.5 months old, this Anatolian Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix already shows the wisdom and poise of a natural-born leader—but don’t worry, she’s just as loving and clever as she is independent. Finley is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and she’s already demonstrating great manners: she keeps her kennel room clean and potties outside using a doggy door like a pro. As with many Anatolians, Finley has a strong sense of self and prefers a life with structure and respectful leadership. She will thrive with a kind but confident handler who understands the breed’s instincts and values her thoughtful, steady nature. If you're looking for a loyal companion with both heart and brains—someone who will walk beside you, not behind—Finley might just be your perfect match. Finley and her siblings came into this world under heartbreaking circumstances. Their momma, an Anatolian Shepherd, was tragically hit and killed by a car while roaming the streets when the puppies were just 3 weeks old. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, and now these resilient pups are thriving together and living their best lives. ------------------------------------------------ Ground transport assistance may be available within 1K miles depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route. Story
Meet Penny – the sweetest velcro Dane!Breed: Great Dane Age: ~5 Size: 120 lbs of loveEnergy: Ultra low — 2 zoomies a day, then nap cityGood with: People (loves both men & women), but prefers to be the only petKids: Best with older childrenSpecial Needs: Blind, but fearless and totally trusting on walksPenny is the ultimate companion — loyal, loving, and happiest right next to you (or on top of your feet). She’s crate trained, fully potty trained, and quiet as a mouse. She’s a pro at listening to voice cues like “step,” “stop,” and “tree” — and she will sniff you out no matter where you are.Meal times are pure joy. Her happy food dance is everything.Penny would thrive in a calm home with a single person, couple, or family with older children. Due to her blindness and her size, small kids may not be the best fit — she can’t see them, and they can be unpredictable. She’d prefer to be the only pet in the home. Though she originally lived with other dogs (including Danes), she quickly decided she’d rather not share her space or her humans. She doesn’t react to dogs on leash, though, so walks are easy-peasy.Penny loves her people so much she gets anxious when left alone — especially in a room away from you. She’s been known to try to chew her way back to your side (door knobs beware). But since moving her crate to the living room? She’s been a total angel.Penny is ready to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your everything.Adopt her and never go to the bathroom alone again.
