This boy needs a home where his dedication will be appreciated, he takes his job seriously!  Albi enjoys his time on the couch but is also a great patroller! He's very protective of his space and you will be incredibly safe with this boy on duty! He loves his walks and is learning not to pull so much. He could potentially live with cats but needs very slow intros and will chase those that run. He is good with other dogs with proper intros. He needs to live far from a road, he doesn't like cars and will chase, his foster mom is working with him on that. Albi has been in his foster home for over a year now and his foster mom knows him very well. He has bonded very closely with our girl Savannah and we are looking for an adopter who will take the 2 of them together.  Albi has been working on his food aggression for some time and has made improvements but it's still best to feed separately. This boy is a true guardian, he wants to protect his people and his property. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We see so many dogs being given away for free on FB, Toby was one of them. Fortunately for him we were able to find a foster to take him. He was scheduled to be neutered just 2 days after getting to his foster home but once there it was found that he was too sick to have any kind of surgery. Toby was full of worms and parasites! Poor guy.  He's spent the last couple of weeks on meds getting healthy, will be getting his shots and once healthy enough will be neutered and ready for his forever home.  This stunning blue eyed boy is a love! Great with other dogs and adores all people. Just no chickens for this floof! ;) His foster mom has been working with him on his walks, up until now he hasn't had much experience with that. He's also afraid of loud noises. That includes loud kiddos, squeaker toys, and other loud barking dogs. He's adjusting well to his foster home though and could be he just needs a few weeks to settle in. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sokka came to our rescue when he was taken to the shelter after being found left in an apartment alone for 10 days. In spite of that he was incredibly sweet, loved everyone he met and was happy to play with some doggy friends in his foster home. When his foster family had additional family with their own dogs moving into their home, it was time for Sokka to find a new foster home. His new foster mom quickly fell for him and there was talk of foster failing. Things changed for Sokka, who had been renamed Owen, when he protected his mom from a dog attack, he took his job seriously and kept her safe but by doing so it affected him, mentally, and he hasn't been the same boy since. Owen's foster mom now feels he'd do better in a different home so we are now looking for a very special place for him. The boy who used to love doggy friends now seems to be very scared and unsure. The boy who never met a person he didn't instantly love, is now very cautious and fearful. So we are looking for a quiet, low key home for Owen where he can learn to trust, feel safe again. Have a backyard to soak up the sun, or the snow. Also a very committed foster or adopter who will work consistently with our behaviorist to help Owen through the trauma he experienced. This is no small ask we know. But he deserves nothing less! She lives in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a cat and does great! Aspen loves her outside time, especially in the cooler weather. She loves to sit outside and soak up the sun! She makes great use of the doggy door! She also loves the comforts of home, a nice nap on the couch is a great afternoon past time.  This beautiful girl would be a great floof to add to any family! They are an old married couple and they must be adopted together. We will be extremely selective about where these 2 go, with all that they've been through.  After their owner suddenly passed away they were faced with euthanasia. We had just a couple of days to find a place to get them safe, and thank goodness a wonderful foster stepped up! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.What happens when a shelter has a policy that says, if you've been at the shelter for 90 days you're time is up?? For Savannah it meant she was going to be euthanized. She had been labeled dog aggressive by the shelter and our pleas for an "only dog" home were not finding the right person to help her. An 11th hour eval showed a different girl than what we'd been told, not dog aggressive at all. Once pulled from the shelter and waiting for transport we were even happier to see an absolutely wonderful girl who loves other dogs, and cats! Savannah is about 2 years old, spayed and UTD on shots.  She loves people more than anything, she wants all the affection she can get! Savannah is good with other dogs, and cats. She is great on a leash and good in the car. Since being in her foster home in MT, she and GPRM's Albi have become very much attached and if at all possible, both rescues would love to see them adopted together. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kaiju came to us as an urgent boy needing to be pulled from a Utah shelter. He was so stressed there he'd stopped eating. He went to a foster home where they hoped he would be the right fit to add to their family and he spent several months getting healthy.  Kaiju has had entropion surgery and recovered from 2 UTI's, also been neutered. His foster family feel with Kaiju's need for very slow intro's to new people and the traffic of people in their home, they're not the right fit for him.  He is a very smart boy, very typical Akbash. Strong and protective of his family, and so goofy and loving too!  Kaiju does great with the female Akbash in the home but does need to be fed alone. He also chases cats! He is a chill 5 year old most of the time and would love to find his forever home. He was so fortunate to be found, in the middle of nowhere in Utah, by some very kind people who would not leave him there. Got him to the vet who said he wouldn't have lasted another day. Shot and attacked by coyotes, we have no idea how he got there or how long he'd been out there alone. We called him Amos, Famous Amos after his story made the news. A wonderful foster stepped up and took amazing care of him, nursing him back to health. They called him Iroh and that name has stuck with him.  He has recently moved to a foster in MT to work on a few house manners and finish getting ready for his forever family.  Iroh was just neutered and had a cracked canine removed. He's growing his hair back and gained all the weight he needs to cover his ribs and hips! He's playing with dogs at the dog park, learning to be good with the cat. He loves his walks and is good on a leash. He adores people and all the attention he can get. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Delilah and her partner Darby came to us after going through quite a lot. Divorce and then neither family wanted them, so they ended up at the shelter. We couldn't stand the thought of them losing everything and then possibly each other, if they were bonded. So here they are in rescue!  We are still learning about these 2 and will update as soon as their wonderful foster learns more about them. Both floofs are being fostered in MT.
