WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Benny – Your Future FBF 🐾 Looking for your next FBF (furry best friend)? Well hey there, fabulous folks – that would be me, Benny! I’m here on the hunt for something I’ve never had before… a family to call my very own. And since you’re reading this, I’m hoping that someone might just be you. My journey didn’t start out easy. My mom, siblings, and I were dumped in a rural area along a busy highway. Terrified, we found shelter in an abandoned house and tried to survive the best we could. Thankfully, some kind neighbors noticed us and began bringing food and water. They contacted this amazing rescue, and now I finally have a second chance at the life I deserve. I’m about 8 months old and, despite my rocky beginning, I have a very sweet and gentle nature. I’m have learned that not all people are scary—that yes, pets, kind words, and cuddles can be really nice. With patience, love, and a steady supply of treats, I’ll reward you with tail wags, soft kisses, and a heart full of loyalty. I love to run and play with toys and my siblings. Because I’ve always been part of a pack, I’d do great in a home with another playful dog stealing...err sharing toys and doing zoomies around the yard!! I get along well with other foster pups here—from big dogs to small. Although I haven’t met any of those mysterious creatures called cats, at my age, with proper introductions, I should do just fine! My mom’s DNA came back as Aussie/Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, and Dad… well, he was a charming traveling salespup making the rounds. I most likely won't get much bigger, coming in around 40–50 lbs—a great size for all sorts of adventures. Mom was adopted and her new family is head over heels in love, thinking she's the next best thing to sliced bread or maybe in this case, make that milkbones!! - Sweet with a medium energy level...an absolute doll...err, make that a GI Joe! - Loves other dogs and would do great with a canine companion - Smart, playful, and eager to love and learn - Will thrive in a patient, loving home - A true rescue gem waiting for her happy ending If you’re looking for a sweet soul to grow with—someone who will quietly become your most loyal companion—please stop scrolling and consider giving me a chance. Apply today at haydudeequine.org – I’ll be waiting with hope in my heart and love to give.
