Zoomer is incredibly handsome and super smart. He's able to master new skills quickly and curious about the world around him. Zoomer LOVES car rides and walks. He lives life full speed ahead, so he would do best with an active adopter who is looking for an adventure buddy. He’s down for any adventure with you, from hiking and camping to road trips. He just wants to be included and feel like he belongs. Zoomer recently enjoyed a short 5-day break in a temporary foster home, and he aced it. While we would usually describe Zoomer as high-energy (hence his name), his foster described him as easygoing and settled in her home. Sometimes dogs who are amped up in the shelter become completely relaxed in a home, and this seems to be the case with Zoomer. He was the perfect guest! They described him as “absolutely delightful” and we have to agree. In the home, he was cuddly and affectionate, and transitioned quickly into his new routine. They described his energy as low-key and sweet. Once Zoomer gets to know you, he’s all about the snuggles. He loves back and chest scratches and will reward you with little happy grunts. Ultimately, Zoomer was excited to be the center of attention. Zoomer is fully housetrained and knows quite a few tricks. He sleeps well through the night in his bed and waits patiently to be let out in the morning. He’s perfectly happy with a quick jaunt around the backyard, a roll in the grass, and checking on the neighborhood through the fence. Zoomer isn’t high-maintenance, and, more than anything, wants to be your buddy. If you’re looking for a silly, happy, loving companion, Zoomer would love to meet you. Not to sure about cats. Snook is affectionate, gentle and a little mischievous! He is smart and will make a great dog. This sweet old soul was found as a stray on April 29th with no one to come forward for him, and at 10 years old this extraordinary boy now waits in Kennel #46 for someone to give him the warm and loving home he so deeply deserves for whatever time he has left. Forrest knows sit, stay, down, and shake — four commands that speak volumes about the love and time someone once invested in him. He clearly had a person who cared for him deeply, and yet here he is, alone and waiting. That loyalty and training he carries with him every single day is a testament to the incredible dog he is and has always been, and he deserves a family who will honor that. At 10 years old Forrest is a senior gentleman who has lived a whole lifetime of quiet devotion, and every single remaining day of his golden years deserves to be spent in a soft and peaceful home with someone who will cherish every moment with him. Blaze is a medium energy boy who is house trained, was previously crate trained, and has good leash manners. He loves to go for car rides and play in his fenced yard! Blaze loves to be around his people, and is kid friendly. He is good with other dogs, but can show possessiveness with other dogs over his toys and food. Blaze is a sweet and calm boy who would love a forever home with or without a fenced yard, and a family to spend time with! He doesn&#39t love storms, fireworks, or the dishwasher. " SEV " Sev is a young, affectionate, handsome 1.5 year old red and white husky pup with beautiful bi-colored (blue and copper) eyes. Sev was on a tether and did not have a safe yard to run and play to get his exercise, and will need a high secure fence (at least 6 ft tall) and with a reinforced bottom to prevent him digging out and looking for adventures. He does ok with other dogs his size, and loves to play but does not like to share his toys, and or food/treats. As with any working breed, Sev needs an active home with someone who can give him lots of time and attention, play, and yard time and take him for walks. Preferably someone who has experience with Sibes, and knows how to handle these escape artists! Being close to you physically is his favorite pastime- cuddling, and playing fetch and chewing on large antlers and husky toys. (*NO cats or small dogs, as he has a typical husky high prey drive. ) Sev is healthy, neutered, HW negative, and fully vetted.
