Koa is a smart and friendly Husky mix, born in March 2022, weighing 50lbs. This beautiful girl has one blue eye, one brown eye, and the softest fur! Koa came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after she was found running up and down a busy road frantically. Sadly, it is believed that she had been dumped by her previous owners. This intelligent girl is eager to please and already knows all her basic commands, and is house trained. Koa is friendly with people, kids, and dogs (with slow and proper introductions). She is a high energy girl who loves to play fetch with her ball, hike, and play tug of war. She LOVES going for walks and has good leash manners. Koa also enjoys going for car rides - she is always down for a fun adventure! This happy girl would love a forever home with a fenced yard (6&#39 fence), and a family that will commit to providing her the daily exercise/stimulation that she needs. Blaze is a medium energy boy who is house trained, was previously crate trained, and has good leash manners. He loves to go for car rides and play in his fenced yard! Blaze loves to be around his people, and is kid friendly. He is good with other dogs, but can show possessiveness with other dogs over his toys and food. Ace is an obedient and intelligent boy who is house trained, crate trained, and he knows all his basic commands! He has a medium energy level, and loves to chase his tennis ball, play tug of war, or chew on his hard bones. Ace is both dog friendly and kid friendly. He may also be cat friendly. Ace can use some additional training when it comes to his leash walking, but he is smart and eager to please. He is great in the car, and is well behaved on outings! Ace ended up at an overcrowded shelter along with his lifelong Maltese friend, Max. These two are a bonded pair and we would prefer they stay together in a forever home. Queen is a wonderful dog around 11-12 years. She will take some time to adjust to a new home. She came from an extreme neglect situation and is doing well with me but still is skittish around new situations or people. It is amazing how resilient animals are! She was malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact. She loves other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans. She does not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort. Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.

Annalise is a grey and white beauty. Annalise was an owner surrender and out of time at a high kill shelter. Owners probably used her up from overbreeding. She loves to play but is also perfectly content to sit on the couch and watch TV.  Annalise would be considered a senior probbly 9-10 years old. She is sweet once she gets comfortable but fearful and barks at new people. Annalise was treated for ectopic ureters and is doing great but will need to be on estrogen and proin for life.     Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at eight years old. Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long and curly. At 45 - 50 pounds, I consider myself the perfect size - not huge and not tiny - I'm just right!   I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do!  When the hoomans come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them!  I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside, and I like to go on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very bestest manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn’t actually DO it! I don’t get on the furniture either. I am a little shy around new people, but I warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I just ignore them and hope they go away! I can definitely tell if you have cheated on me while you were out. My sniffer will find the evidence, and you will see the disappointment in my eyes and maybe even my attitude!
