Story
Koa is a smart and friendly Husky mix, born in March 2022, weighing 50lbs. This beautiful girl has one blue eye, one brown eye, and the softest fur! Koa came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after she was found running up and down a busy road frantically. Sadly, it is believed that she had been dumped by her previous owners. This intelligent girl is eager to please and already knows all her basic commands, and is house trained. Koa is friendly with people, kids, and dogs (with slow and proper introductions). She is a high energy girl who loves to play fetch with her ball, hike, and play tug of war. She LOVES going for walks and has good leash manners. Koa also enjoys going for car rides - she is always down for a fun adventure! This happy girl would love a forever home with a fenced yard (6&#39 fence), and a family that will commit to providing her the daily exercise/stimulation that she needs. She would enjoy going to doggy daycare or having family members who work from home, and another playful dog that she can spend time with. Koa is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about her, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet girl, please submit an application for her at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.June 10, 2024, 9:11 am

Story
Blaze is a big beautiful, 5yr old, Husky Mix. He weighs 120lbs, and has a big handsome head on his shoulders! Blaze is a medium energy boy who is house trained, was previously crate trained, and has good leash manners. He loves to go for car rides and play in his fenced yard! Blaze loves to be around his people, and is kid friendly. He is good with other dogs, but can show possessiveness with other dogs over his toys and food. Blaze is a sweet and calm boy who would love a forever home with or without a fenced yard, and a family to spend time with! He doesn&#39t love storms, fireworks, or the dishwasher. Blaze does have vet anxiety (can you blame him!) and needs sedation prior to heading to a vet appointment. Blaze is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about this handsome boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Ace is a handsome Siberian Husky looking for his forever family! This beautiful boy is estimated to be 4yr old and weighs 71lbs. Ace is an obedient and intelligent boy who is house trained, crate trained, and he knows all his basic commands! He has a medium energy level, and loves to chase his tennis ball, play tug of war, or chew on his hard bones. Ace is both dog friendly and kid friendly. He may also be cat friendly. Ace can use some additional training when it comes to his leash walking, but he is smart and eager to please. He is great in the car, and is well behaved on outings! Ace ended up at an overcrowded shelter along with his lifelong Maltese friend, Max. These two are a bonded pair and we would prefer they stay together in a forever home. Ace loves the company of sweet and petite Max and keeps a watchful eye on him at all times. Please see Max&#39s bio for full details on him. Ace would love a family who is experienced with Husky&#39s, and will provide him the daily exercise he requires. He needs a fenced yard in his forever home, and would love to have another playful pup to spend his time with. Ace can guard his toys (they are his prized possessions!) so a family with kids 8yr+ would be best. He will make a wonderful and loving companion for a family looking for a handsome and sweet boy! Ace is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting Ace, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Well behaved and trained husky who needs lots of love and activity. We acquired him after a friend reached out about a stray husky roaming the neighborhood. Our friend took him to a local adoption clinic and we picked him up. He's about 2 yrs old. He's very good with our children (whom range from teenage to toddler).

Story
Queen is a wonderful dog around 11-12 years. She will take some time to adjust to a new home. She came from an extreme neglect situation and is doing well with me but still is skittish around new situations or people. It is amazing how resilient animals are! She was malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact. She loves other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans. She does not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort. Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.

Story
Annalise is a grey and white beauty. Annalise was an owner surrender and out of time at a high kill shelter. Owners probably used her up from overbreeding. She loves to play but is also perfectly content to sit on the couch and watch TV.  Annalise would be considered a senior probbly 9-10 years old. She is sweet once she gets comfortable but fearful and barks at new people. Annalise was treated for ectopic ureters and is doing great but will need to be on estrogen and proin for life. She would do best in a quiet home with out children.  she loves other calm male dogs but wil not tolerate crazy ones!    Don't you have the room for a lovable girl?

Story
Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 9 years old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  Hope to meet you soon! Story
Hello, my name is Dom as in Dom Perignon, the famous champagne. I am a 5 month old, Husky/Pittie/Lab mix, who’s estimated to being around 50 pounds when fully grown.    I’m your typical silly, clumsy puppy who loves everyone. I’m completely potty and crate trained and I sleep through the night. My favorite hobbies are chasing balls, chewing sticks and bones, doing zoomies in the yard, and snuggling. I also LOVE car rides and spending time with my people. I’ve been called a Velcro dog.   Come and meet me! I’ll steal your heart with my green eyes and pinky chocolate nose. Story
Hi I’m Pol Roger, but you can call me, Paul, like my foster parents do. I am a fantastic little guy. I am about six months old. so I am past all that baby puppy chewing stuff. I am a husky lab mix. I may have more lab than husky because one of my favorite things to do is swim! I’m super good at it also. Foster mom says I look graceful when I swim. I’m not sure how big I’m going to get, I have very long legs and a long tail, but I’m only about 30 pounds. I do great with other dogs, kids and cats. I’m just one of those all-around good nature type of guys. So not only am I winning in the personality department. I’m also incredibly good looking. Sometimes pictures don’t do me justice, but I have beautiful sable eyes that can pierce your heart. I am mostly black, but I’ve got a few little patches of tan and a tiny tiny little wisp of white on my head, chest  and the tip of my tail. I am almost potty trained.  I just love running around, swimming and lounging outside. I sleep quietly in my crate My ideal forever home would include also adopting my foster brother Burrata. We are just a few months apart in age and are a bonded pair. We play together, sleep together each night, and love each other very much. Let us know if you’re interested in learning more about me and my foster brother Burrata or meeting us! Story
My name is Brut, because I was born on New Year’s and named for champagne. Here’s the 411 on me:   - I’m a puppy and will grow to about 50-60 pounds - I’m crate trained and 99.5% potty trained - I’m social with dogs and people of all sizes - I like long walks, play time AND snuggling    The special thing about me is that the Dr says I have a heart valve that’s too small. It doesn’t cause me any issues right now - I run and play like all the other pups. It might grow to normal as I grow up. Or I might need medicine when I get older. My foster mom can explain all that.    So I’m asking a special adopter to apply for me, a special puppy! Story
Rhea (REE-yah) is a sweet 4 year-old Siberian Husky whose owner had a stroke and can no longer care for her. She is very affectionate for a Husky and not aggressive at all. She is high anxiety, however, and especially fears thunder and vet visits! We give her trazedone from time to time to manage anxiety. Great dog who needs an owner who can take care of her properly.

Hiya it’s me, Kenai. I’m the one that is extra! Extra large, extra sweet, extra loving. You know Extra! I’m ready to meet my new family! My foster mom says I’m perfect in every way except maybe I like to Lean and at 70 lbs I lean a lot! Who could blame me? Humans are so comfy. There are so many wonderful things here: dogs, people, food and did I mention peanut butter? I am about 2-3 years old and we think i am a male alaskan malamute mix. I have the most beautiful bi-eyes. My foster mom adores me because I am the sweetest boy. She has a rule of no dogs on the furniture. She always breaks that rule! I love to play in the yard. I especially like it when you chase me but you could never catch me!!If you’re looking for a perfect companion to round out your pack, just ask for Kenai!
