*Located in Mid Michigan* 12-6-25 still available We have a female dog named Frankie that we have been given from my daughters co-worker who became homeless last weekend. Rather then allow her to be let loose to the streets we brought her here with the hopes of finding a rescue or shelter to take her to, but have had no amount of luck with placement. Everyone we contact is full. I already own two dogs myself and am not looking to take on a third. She was fixed and is now up to date on shots, and micro-chipped. Good with other dogs after meeting period is over, seems ok with cats. Is pretty timid at first but with the right love and care will be an excellent dog. **willing to negotiate adoption fee for the right home** *willing to travel a bit* EDIT: seems to be food and bone/toy aggressive at times. But this seems like a vocalization quirk, we are working on her not growling. Will need experienced handler to help train. We are doing our best to help mitigate the triggers.

Akira, she is a 2 year old spayed female American Akita (around 95 lb) looking for a new home. She is a beautiful and wonderful dog that gets along well with other dogs; lives with two male boxers currently. She has very good manors, is a very quick learner, and easily trained with treats. Walks very well with both of my other dogs / does not pull at all on leash. Absolutely loves the winter and any activity in the snow. Does well with grooming, allows nails to be ground and enjoys being brushed. She loves car rides and going places like parks or to the pet store. Ideally, she should be with an owner who is also very active and/or has large fenced yard for exercise. Looking for adopter with experience with Akita or other active working breed dogs.

Keyoko is a very sweet girl looking for her furever home. Her owner passed away and she is just lost without her owner. She loves to be around people. She was housebroken but needs a refresher course. Keyoko is 8 years old female and is very loving. She becomes a devoted shadow, a quiet cuddler, and a gentle-hearted companion who wants nothing more than to be close to the person she trusts. She walks gracefully on leash and is already potty trained. She’s intelligent and curious, always eager to explore—whether it’s new places, new toys, or new people. She’s also learning to play nicely with other dogs and is cat-friendly with the right introductions. And while she can clear a 4-foot fence with ease (those long legs and strong heart know no bounds), a secure setup or supervised yard time will keep her safe while she continues to settle into the life she deserves.
