Story
Marley is a good boy.He knows sit and sometimes paw for treats. I’m moving to another state and just can’t take him with me. He has had the parvo vaccine from the breeder but not sure on any other vaccines. He would do best with a fenced yard cause he is full of energy and loves to run.

Story
Wolfie is a sociable, energetic boy who loves people and enjoys meeting other dogs, though he can be intimidating at first and may need a confident introduction before he settles in. He’s eager to play and he has a playful streak with water hoses that never fails to bring a smile. He weighs 89 pounds and is approximately 3-4 years old.??Wolfie is still learning the leash. He is learning to come when called and sits nicely when prompted. He is a homebody at heart, but he still needs plenty of exercise to burn off his occasional bursts of energy. He also enjoys walks with his humans.??Located in Houston, Texas. Transport to most states available for an additional fee of $300.

Story
I got my Akita from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, when he was about 3 months old. He is 5 years old now and his birthday day is October 21, 2020. He’s black and white, and weighs about 85 lbs. I think his ideal living situation would be on a large plot of land where he can run. He gets along with most dogs but preferably female dogs. He does tend to get anxious around new people at first, so I would not recommend children, although he currently lives with my 3 kids and he has never bit them. He has, however, pushed them over and scratched them a few times by accident. He has shown signs of aggression towards a few of my nephews though, which is why I’m giving him up. He is very protective of his family, maybe even to a fault, but he’s a sweet boy and I think he just needs an environment more suited for him, which I cannot provide.

Story
Meet Tiberius Tiberius is a 7½‑year‑old mixed‑breed gentleman with a calm presence and a soulful expression that hints at a life full of stories we may never know. While your guess is as good as ours, we believe he may have some Akita in him, both in looks and in his thoughtful, reserved nature. He was surrendered to a local animal control shelter when his owner was moving, with little information left behind. Since then, Tiberius has understandably been shy and unsure, trying to make sense of a world that changed very suddenly for him. Despite his nerves, he has shown us that he is gentle, cooperative, and kind, allowing handling and walking on leash. The bright spot in Tiberius’s journey has been the steady work of our volunteer trainer, who has been spending regular time with him and the progress has been wonderful to see. With patience, consistency, and kindness, Tiberius is slowly gaining confidence and learning that people can be trusted again. He would thrive in a patient, low‑key home committed long‑term to continuing his confidence building. A second, confident, social dog in the home would be a huge bonus for Tiberius. He did well in playgroups at the shelter and seems to take comfort in canine companionship. Any resident dogs would need a meet‑and‑greet. Now in his golden years, Tiberius isn’t asking for much, just a soft landing place, a predictable routine, and someone willing to let him go at his own pace. In return, you’ll be giving a deserving old soul the chance to finally feel safe and settled. Tiberius will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and 4DX tested. If you believe in giving senior dogs the grace and patience they deserve, Tiberius may be waiting just for you. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com His adoption fee is $450.
