Story
Hi! My name is Sleigh and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 12/1/25.I weigh ~58lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.At the shelter, I met a medium sized (35#) female dog, and enjoyed running around the yard with her! I am a young boisterous boy, so I had to receive a few corrections, which I took well and we continued to play! I would likely do well at home with a dog that wants to spend time playing together, and of a similar size. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
💙 Name: Hodol 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 3 months old (born in August 2025) 💙 Weight: 3.2 kg / 7 kg 💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neuter: Incomplete. * Others: Microchipped, being treated for canine coronavirus and giardiasis. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Hodol was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. * With Dogs: Plays well with the other dogs at our center. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since he’s living in a group setting at our center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training: Does fairly well with potty pads. May need to be re-trained in a new environment. * Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness on short-distance rides. * Biting: Has not bitten. However, he may nibble or chew since he’s still a teething puppy. * Barking: Sometimes whines a bit if he seems someone outside his kennel. * Likes: Has a great appetite and loves food. * Dislikes: Although he is docile when picked up, he seems a bit uncomfortable with it since he yawns (a sign that a dog isn’t comfortable).

Story
Jason Momoa is a looker, just like his name sake- and thankfully, he's just a great a dog as he is good looking! He is slightly smaller than your typical American Akita but he's got that Akita mindset. This means he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but as he's young and smart, he's learned quickly that people bring the fun (and food)- so he makes friends quickly now. He also loves to play and along with training, these are the keys to his heart! He already knows quite a few commands and walks well on a leash- but also loves to run and play in the yard. He plays his own version of fetch which mostly involves running around with the ball- not so much bringing it back- but he loves this game! Typical for his breed, he can be slightly protective and this is why we require someone with previous "power breed" or Akita experience. Akitas are typically not first time dogs and they need boundaries and structure that most first time owners do not understand (which is exactly why he is with us). Jason is crate trained and housebroken. He would do best in a home with no children. Home cannot have other male dogs, and/or smaller breeds. Jason is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MAGGIE loves people and craves attention!  She has a typical Malamute personality, a very sweet girl but also likes to be independent and aloof when the mood strikes.     She enjoys being with her human pack where she can be pet all over, get belly rubs and cuddles. MAGGIE likes to walk several times a day checking out the neighborhood.    She is good in cars and will be happy to join you on all your adventures!  She has done well with older kids, though she does like to put her paws up on people, which is why it is best that she is not with small children. MAGGIE prefers to be the queen of her home.  Our foster has indicated she likes to play with other dogs but may be selective of her friends.  Larger dogs with a calm personality.  After a good play date, she enjoys going home to nap.  If there are other dogs in her future home, it will need to be a slow introduction and reassurance that she gets attention when she wants it, just like a queen deserves. Her dream home would be a big, fenced yard to relax in and enjoy some quiet time.  But also be inside where she can keep an eye on her family and lounge around, knowing her people are safe. &#226&#128&#139She is currently living with a foster in Manson, WA, however the foster is willing to transport her to intros within a few hours’ drive.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Xavier from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 5 month old  male Akita - Jindo mix.  I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
Meet Rowan! 🐾 (currently in foster care) Rowan is a 2-year-old, 65 lb Akita with a heart as big as his paws. This sweet boy just wants to be close to his people—snuggled up at your side, soaking in all the love he can get. He’s perfectly content relaxing in the yard and doesn’t require a lot of activity to stay happy, though he does enjoy adventure walks, squeaky toys, belly rubs, and anything food-related! Rowan is eager to please and easy to train, making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates his loyal and affectionate nature. Like most Akitas, he’s a natural guardian—deeply devoted and protective once he bonds with his people. Because of this, Rowan would do best in a home without small children, as young kids seem to make him nervous and he has barked at some while out walking. Rowan has done well with other dogs in our care, and for the most part is fairly aloof and prefers his people. He would be fine as an only dog, or well suited with another calm dog in the home, ideally female. Rowan has a prey drive and will need a home without cats. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who offers both love and protection, Rowan is truly one of a kind. ❤️ Rowan is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
and energetic 5-year-old husky Zuma, loves daily walks and would be a great exercise and adventure companion. Zuma LOVES kids and has been raised with young children in his home. He has lived with his current owners since he was a puppy. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes and is not bothered by inclement WA weather! Tall and gorgeous, ZUMA weighs 62lbs. Zuma is leash trained He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys dog play after the appropriate amount of warming up time. Cats are unknown because he’s never been around them. Zuma is super smart, knows his basic commands and loves to play fetch. He is house trained and crate trained too. Zuma can be trusted to be alone in the house, but he does enjoy and seek out his crate often. Not surprisingly, Zuma loves people the most, especially men. He’s a real “pleaser” and needs and loves his daily exercise. He prefers a good walk or fetch-time rather than a long hike and definitely needs a new family that is active and has time for him. Zuma does great in the car and loves car rides- so he’d make a good adventure or errand buddy too. Zuma loves the beach and the water. This super fun and most deserving boy is vaccinated and neutered. Zuma is available to meet at his home in Enumclaw. Please contact his mom Ellie at elliesheaburbank@gmail.com or 253-259-0569.

Story
We adopted our sweet girl when she was about a year old, and she’s been part of our family ever since. She’s an active, affectionate husky who loves long walks, daycare playtime, and soaking up all the attention she can get. For the past five years, she’s been my loyal walking buddy—always excited to meet new people and collect a few extra pets along the way. She’s food-motivated (treats are her love language!) and adores being part of family activities. While she’s not particularly into toys, she enjoys puzzles and chew toys that challenge her mind and help her burn energy. She truly is a loving, gentle soul who thrives on companionship and attention. Like many huskies, she has plenty of energy and would do best with someone or a family who can give her the time, exercise, and affection she deserves. Unfortunately, our situation has changed over the last few years and despite doing our best to make sure she has the home she deserves, we can tell she deserves more.
