Jason Momoa is a looker, just like his name sake- and thankfully, he's just a great a dog as he is good looking! He is slightly smaller than your typical American Akita but he's got that Akita mindset. This means he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but as he's young and smart, he's learned quickly that people bring the fun (and food)- so he makes friends quickly now. He also loves to play and along with training, these are the keys to his heart! He already knows quite a few commands and walks well on a leash- but also loves to run and play in the yard. He plays his own version of fetch which mostly involves running around with the ball- not so much bringing it back- but he loves this game! Typical for his breed, he can be slightly protective and this is why we require someone with previous "power breed" or Akita experience. Akitas are typically not first time dogs and they need boundaries and structure that most first time owners do not understand (which is exactly why he is with us). Jason is crate trained and housebroken. He would do best in a home with no children. Home cannot have other male dogs, and/or smaller breeds. Jason is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. * With Dogs: Plays well with the other dogs at our center. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since he’s living in a group setting at our center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training: Does fairly well with potty pads. May need to be re-trained in a new environment. * Grooming: Although he doesn’t like it, he’s docile while getting his nails trimmed with his belly-side up. * Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness on short-distance rides. * Biting: Has not bitten. However, he may nibble or chew since he’s still a teething puppy. * Barking: Sometimes whines a bit if he seems someone outside his kennel. * Likes: Has a great appetite and loves food. * Dislikes: Although he is docile when picked up, he seems a bit uncomfortable with it since he yawns (a sign that a dog isn’t comfortable).

She was so afraid of people that she would hide in the corner whenever someone approached, constantly watching her surroundings. Due to the harsh shelter environment and Jiho’s extreme fear of humans, ADOGS decided to rescue her so she wouldn’t have to remain there any longer. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics With people: She is very timid and extremely afraid of people, often avoiding them. She needs time to open her heart to humans, along with consistent training. She is currently receiving training at a school. With dogs: She generally gets along well with other dogs without major issues. With cats: She has not been tested with cats yet. Separation anxiety: It is difficult to determine at the moment, as she is living in a group setting at the training school. House training: Currently only does outdoor potty, as she is staying at the school. Car sickness: She becomes very tense in the car and trembles a lot. Dislikes: She is very afraid of people. When someone approaches, she tends to hide and freeze.

birthday 10/19/2022 Benson is a really good boy. He has territorial aggression and would need to be in a home with no kids and a large yard. He is a very good listener, loves to play catch, loves the water but hasn’t fully swam yet but he figures it out. He could use some leash training during walking as he’s normally off leash at the park.

I’m a young, playful pup at heart; a 3 year old, 50 lb Husky full of curiosity, sweetness, and heart melting head tilts. For a long time, I waited in a shelter. Day after day. Watching. Hoping. Treats were my bright spots. When someone offered one, my whole world lit up and I could imagine, just for a moment, what it might feel like to belong. After months of waiting, I was finally rescued by the wonderful folks at PawesomeBaby Rescue! Now I’m in a loving foster home, showing everyone what a good boy I truly am. I love to play - with humans, with other young and playful dogs, and with anyone who’s ready to have a little fun. I have a goofy personality, a joyful spirit, and I bring smiles wherever I go. Training: —————- Like a typical husky, he doesn’t enjoy being alone. He can get bored and mischievous. But he has been good if he has his humans or fur siblings around. Training Resources: ————————————— Regardless of who you adopt, we recommend training your pup regularly, to build an everlasting bond with your pup and help them continue to be an amazing canine citizen. We can provide a list of reputable trainers who use positive reinforcement methods to help you establish a training protocol with your newly adopted furbaby. —————————————————————————- [IMPORTANT] —————————————————————————- Below listed requirements are for any dogs we adopt out, meant for everyone’s safety. • If you have other dogs, then you must also be knowledgeable and have good hands on experience with running a multi-dog home to be able to adopt a dog from us. What’s expected of the adopter is just keeping basic house rules like (1) keep the dogs apart when feeding, monitor & put away left over food, (2) help them build mutual trust before leaving alone with treats, toys around (3) keep dogs out of kitchen when handling food etc • As with any dog, earn their trust around food handling. This is an essential training for every dog, so they learn to trust their new human. It takes only a couple of practice sessions around meal time with most dogs with no history of food guarding. Teaching to sit, then hand-feeding food & high value treats is one of the best ways to earn trust. • If you have children at home, they should be at least 8+ yrs, and know to safely & respectfully interact with dogs, to be considered for adoption. We think families with younger children will likely not have the time needed to exercise and nourish a new dog. And the time needed to train little kids to safely interact with dogs, read their body language & respect their personal space. Most dogs do not enjoy little ones clinging to them, pulling their fur, crawling or lying on them. We do not want to risk the safety of neither your child nor our dog.
