Story
Jason Momoa is a looker, just like his name sake- and thankfully, he's just a great a dog as he is good looking! He is slightly smaller than your typical American Akita but he's got that Akita mindset. This means he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but as he's young and smart, he's learned quickly that people bring the fun (and food)- so he makes friends quickly now. He also loves to play and along with training, these are the keys to his heart! He already knows quite a few commands and walks well on a leash- but also loves to run and play in the yard. He plays his own version of fetch which mostly involves running around with the ball- not so much bringing it back- but he loves this game! Typical for his breed, he can be slightly protective and this is why we require someone with previous "power breed" or Akita experience. Akitas are typically not first time dogs and they need boundaries and structure that most first time owners do not understand (which is exactly why he is with us). Who wouldn't want to take this hunky Hollywood guy home? He's waiting to meet you! Jason is crate trained and housebroken. He would do best in a home with no children. Jason is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. ADOPTION DONATION: $600 All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. Story
Meet Dooly💜 Three siblings Dooly, Douner, and Ddochi were rescued from Korean city shelter where they lived for 2 months without their mom. Dooly received training at a training center and learned how to live with people. We hope and wish that Dooly will find a loving foster or forever family. * Because he is living at Adogs center with a group of dogs, we don’t know if he has separation anxiety or if he is housebroken. 💟 Personality and characteristics *Keyword: Smiley #SmileyAngel #Timid *Energy level (1-10): lv.5~6 *Dooli is a pup who has a goofy smile that looks extremely cute!😁 In contrast to his siblings Donner and Ddochi, he is a charming yellow pup with his beautiful yellow coat! *He was a timid pup who lacked some social skills and after he was trained at training class, he improved and is doing better!👍🏻 *Dooli actively runs around and is very energetic! To meet his energy and active nature, it would be ideal if he could be adopted to a family where they can consistently walk him every day!

The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Kai! He is a beautiful 8-year-old, 89lb Akita, who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kai is an awesome dog! He is a big, sweet teddy bear who loves treats, pets, and going on walks with his person. He loves to explore and will thrive in a home that takes him on daily walks, as well as has a large, fenced yard for him to roam. He does well with other dogs, and would be a great additional dog to home, or be fine as an only dog. If you’re looking for a giant sweetheart with a big fluffy and squishy head, Kai is your guy! He listens well to his person, is treat motivated, and is more than happy to just be good company. Kai is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.

Story
Hello future family! My name is Link! I'm a spirited and affectionate Husky ready to leap into your heart. I've traveled all the way from a California kill shelter to the beautiful state of Washington, seeking a second chance at life and love. The day I was supposed to be euthanized, my rescuers saved me just in the nick of time and now I'm eager to find my forever home. The shelter thinks I’m around 4 years old. I am medium size, weighing only around 49 lb and 30” tall. I'm a playful bundle of joy who loves to run, play, and shower you with love nibbles and kisses. My past may be a mystery, but my personality is an open book filled with love and excitement. I'm known for my playful antics and can be a bit mouthy when I'm excited, so I'd love a home with an active furry sibling to match my energy. I can be an only dog too, if my human can setup play dates to meet my socializing needs. I adore attention and can't wait to prance over to you for some well-deserved pets. I'm a social butterfly at the dog park, making friends with ease, and I'm quickly learning basic commands. Rest assured, I'm house trained and a well-behaved boy, quietly awaiting our afternoon walks. Speaking of walks, did I mention I'm FAST? I love chasing after squirrels and feeling the wind in my fur as I sprint around the dog park. And oh, when I get the zoomies, I have this adorable quirk – I jump straight up into the air! It's so cute and unique, how many other dogs have you seen do that? My ideal human would be someone active like me, ready to explore and embark on adventures together. Despite my energetic nature, I'm a happy-go-lucky dog who just wants to be part of a loving family. I promise to fill your days with laughter, joy, and endless affection. So, what do you say? Are you ready to welcome a sweet boy like me into your heart and home? With wagging tails, hopeful eyes, and mid-air zoomies, - Link ————————————— Please contact to schedule a meet & greet with Link, and learn about the adoption process. We can arrange meet & greet in the Greater Seattle area. His adoption fee is $300 ———————————— [IMPORTANT] Below listed requirements are meant for everyone’s safety. • If you have other dogs, then you must also be knowledgeable and have good hands on experience with running a multi-dog home to be able to adopt a dog from us. What's expected of the adopter is just keeping basic house rules like (1) keep the dogs apart when feeding, monitor & put away left over food, (2) help them build mutual trust before leaving alone with treats, toys around (3) keep dogs out of kitchen when handling food etc • As with any dog, earn their trust around food handling. This is an essential training for every dog, so they learn to trust their new human. It takes only a couple of practice sessions around meal time with most dogs with no history of food guarding. Teaching to sit, then hand-feeding food & high value treats is one of the best ways to eat trust. • If you have children at home, they should be at least 8+ yrs, and know to safely & respectfully interact with dogs, to be considered for adoption. We think families with younger children will likely not have the time needed to exercise and nourish a new dog. And the time needed to train little kids to safely interact with dogs, read their body language & respect their space. • We discourage the use of choke, pinch, prong collars on our dogs. We do not believe this is the humane way to train dogs for obedience, when there are science based, positive reinforcement training methods available in 2023. Besides, huskies are genetically prone to glaucoma of the eyes, and the pressure on the neck will only hurt them more. Walking on a well fitted no-pull harness is encouraged. ———
