Story
Hi! My name is Sleigh and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 12/1/25.I weigh ~58lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.At the shelter, I met a medium sized (35#) female dog, and enjoyed running around the yard with her! I am a young boisterous boy, so I had to receive a few corrections, which I took well and we continued to play! I would likely do well at home with a dog that wants to spend time playing together, and of a similar size. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
💙 Name: Hodol 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 3 months old (born in August 2025) 💙 Weight: 3.2 kg / 7 kg 💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neuter: Incomplete. * Others: Microchipped, being treated for canine coronavirus and giardiasis. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Hodol was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. * With Dogs: Plays well with the other dogs at our center. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since he’s living in a group setting at our center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training: Does fairly well with potty pads. May need to be re-trained in a new environment. * Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness on short-distance rides. * Biting: Has not bitten. However, he may nibble or chew since he’s still a teething puppy. * Barking: Sometimes whines a bit if he seems someone outside his kennel. * Likes: Has a great appetite and loves food. * Dislikes: Although he is docile when picked up, he seems a bit uncomfortable with it since he yawns (a sign that a dog isn’t comfortable).

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Mia! Mia is a 1.5-year-old, 56 lb Akita/Smooth Coat Collie mix who is currently thriving in her foster home and now ready to find the perfect forever family! Mia is an incredibly sweet, loyal, and people-oriented girl. She loves being with her humans and would be happiest in a home where someone is around often or can take her along for adventures. She’s affectionate, cuddly, forms deep bonds, and just wants to be part of everything her people do. Mia needs a standalone home with a yard (no apartments or condos) or a large property/land to run, play, and explore. This girl loves stretching her legs! Mia is fantastic with other dogs and absolutely loves to play — fetch, chase, wrestling, toys… you name it, she’s in! A doggy sibling would be a huge bonus for her. She’s also extremely food motivated, which makes training fun and easy. She’s very smart and has an impressive list of tricks: she knows sit, down, lay down, shake, come, spin, and even crawl. She’s so clever she can even open jars! Mia will thrive in a home that keeps her both physically active and mentally stimulated. She’s an enthusiastic eater with some adorable quirks — her favorite fruit is apple, and her favorite veggie is celery! Mia can be a bit attention-seeking at times, so she needs adopters who can give her plenty of engagement, structure, and affection. She could do well with respectful, dog-savvy kids 12+ and needs a home with no cats. Overall, Mia is an amazing, fun, affectionate, intelligent girl who just needs an active, attentive home where she can be included, loved, and kept busy. She will make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a smart, playful, loyal best friend! Mia is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
We have had Fenris since he was 10 weeks old. He was socialized with people and other animals from a very young age. Our son and the neighborhood children are always playing with him. He has shown no aggression towards people. We will hold large parties at our house and he does well with guests. Sometimes he will be a little weary towards certain strangers but he can easily be bought with a treat. He is not a high energy dog and prefers to lay next to you on the couch. I feel like he is the perfect dog with one exception. Over the past year he has been attacking our other pets. He has bitten all 3 of our other pets. We have tried dog trainers and rearranging out entire house. It keeps escalating and it is not fair to our other pets. It breaks our heart to have to do this but we don't want to wait until he kills one of our other pets. Please do not have other pets in the home if you are thinking about adopting Fenris.

Story
Meet Rowan! 🐾 (currently in foster care) Rowan is a 2-year-old, 65 lb Akita with a heart as big as his paws. This sweet boy just wants to be close to his people—snuggled up at your side, soaking in all the love he can get. He’s perfectly content relaxing in the yard and doesn’t require a lot of activity to stay happy, though he does enjoy adventure walks, squeaky toys, belly rubs, and anything food-related! Rowan is eager to please and easy to train, making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates his loyal and affectionate nature. Like most Akitas, he’s a natural guardian—deeply devoted and protective once he bonds with his people. Because of this, Rowan would do best in a home without small children, as young kids seem to make him nervous and he has barked at some while out walking. Rowan has done well with other dogs in our care, and for the most part is fairly aloof and prefers his people. He would be fine as an only dog, or well suited with another calm dog in the home, ideally female. Rowan has a prey drive and will need a home without cats. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who offers both love and protection, Rowan is truly one of a kind. ❤️ Rowan is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
