Story
Please come to our adoption event to meet them: Saturday 05/28 from 4:30 pm to 6: pm at PetSmart in Clairemont,: 4253 Genesee Ave, San Diego, CA 92117 ***Please read all the way down to the bottom so you can learn all about our sweet pet and about the requirements as well as the organization*** Hi!! Meet our beautiful, loving, and sensitive boy "Quinoa" - He is about 1 year old purebred Alaskan Malamute - He loves to play with other dogs :) He is very good with people and kids. Quinoa is an intelligent, highly-trainable, loving companion for life. We give the category of being a sensitive dog; because he was rescued when his female partner was run over and was dead on the road and will not leave her and laid down next to her screaming for her :( unfortunately at the time of rescuing him we were not able to take pics or videos as we had to rush and get him out of the road. He is currently being fostered with other dogs of all sizes; therefore, he will be great with a multi-family home with other pets. He will be great with a very active family, to take him along for walks, runs, hiking, camping, or just taking it easy and having a cup of coffee:) He is great in the crate; he won't bothered you if you have to work or get the kids to take a nap. - Quinoa has a nice fluffy coat with red tones in it. As a new family addition, he will need guidance as he gets a little shy in the 1st hours you meet him:) If you are ready for this commitment and open your heart to any of our adorable pups, please don't wait no longer. Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st choice of contact or email veronica.aaofus@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- Please do not leave voice messages - If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date his yearly DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! *****A minute of conscious - Please read:) ***** We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!

Story
Meet Louie! This handsome, affectionate boy is looking for a fresh start. His previous owner, an elderly woman in declining health, could no longer care for him—so Louie is now hoping for a loving family to call his own. Louie has lived peacefully with other dogs and even a cat, making him a great fit for a multi-pet home. He’s a playful guy who loves to chase a ball, stretch his legs, and enjoy a good run. But at the end of the day, he’s all about affection and being close to his people. Louie is searching for a family who will include him in their daily life—walks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of love. If you’re ready to open your heart and home, Louie is ready to give you his whole. ##2596799##

Story
Meet Zeiss! Zeiss is a peculiar fellow. He is a certified service animal and was with a military veteran with a traumatic brain injury. In the last year he has slowly stopped doing the tasks that he was expected to do. I don't blame him, 7 years is a good run. His person moved out of state into an apartment and opted not to take Zeiss with him. The peculiar part is Zeiss is not a fan of unsolicited human affection. He prefers to be left alone unless he decides he wants a head scratch. Don't linger though, he will walk away and tell you about your wrongs. He gets along with other dogs well, big and small, old and young. He exists just fine in the pack. He loves water. He will splash around in the pool or play catch me if you can with the hose. He is fully house trained and smart, will play fetch and tug of war without a problem. He would do best in an adults only home, the little ones might not understand his grumpy old man stance. If you have room in your home and heart for a good boy that you can enjoy being happy to watch him be happy, please click to apply!

Story
Meet Cloud – A Beautiful Soul Searching for His Forever Home** 🌥 Video on IG here - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGQ1QN4v6G9/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Cloud is as soft as his name suggests—both in looks and in heart. He is one of the most beautiful dogs we’ve ever seen, with a thick, black fluffy coat and soulful eyes that reflect his deep loyalty. This sweet boy has been through a lot, but his heart remains open—he’s patiently waiting for that special person to see him for the incredible companion he is. 💙 **About Cloud:** ✨ **Breed:** Husky/Malamute mix ✨ **Age:** 4 years ✨ **Personality:** Gentle, affectionate, and a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly loving and devoted. ✨ **Favorite Things:** Soft blankets, quiet afternoons, and staying close to his favorite human. ✨ **Special Considerations:** 🐾 Cloud does well with female dogs but needs a home without other males. 🐾 He thrives in an **adults-only** home where he can feel safe and at ease. 🐾 **Needs a secure backyard** during the day to feel comfortable and safe. 🐾 Would do best if his human **works from home** or is home often, as he loves companionship. 🐾 **No small dogs or cats**—Cloud needs a home without small animals. 🏡 **Cloud’s Ideal Home:** Cloud would flourish in a calm, loving environment where he can build trust and form a deep bond with his new family. He needs a patient and understanding human who will give him the time and space to feel secure. If you’re looking for a fiercely loyal companion with a heart as big as the sky, Cloud is ready to bring unconditional love into your life. 🐾 **Could Cloud Be Your Perfect Match?** If you feel a connection with Cloud and want to give him the safe, loving home he deserves, Please email us at Alljoy4paws@yahoo.com or apply here https://form.jotform.com/221926016430144 ✨ **Every rescue deserves a second chance. Could Cloud be yours?** ☁️💙 Currently being fostered in Escondido, CA.

Courtesy post for another rescuer. Please be sure to contact allysonart8@gmail.com or 626-798-3077 for more information on sweet Samantha. Samantha’s journey began on the streets of Tijuana, born shortly after her pregnant mother was found in front of a gas station by a kind-hearted stranger. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, her mom was given a safe place to raise her puppies, away from the dangers of street life. Now, two years later, Samantha is still waiting for a home to call her own. Samantha is a stunning Alaskan Malamute and Shepherd mix, about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and weighs a petite 38 pounds. She’s a bit shy when meeting new people but give her a little time, and she’ll soon show her sweet and gentle personality. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and children. While she adores her foster caretaker and their grandchild, the space is very limited and Samantha hasn’t had the chance to run and play outdoors like she longs to. She’s ready for a family that will give her the space, patience, and love she deserves. Currently being fostered in Tijuana, Mexico — but don’t worry! Transportation can be arranged as far north as Los Angeles County. For adoption information, please contact Allysonart8@gmail.com or call 626-798-3077.
