Story
Smalls is a 3 year old Alaskan Malamute I've had him in the family since he was 6 weeks old I bottle fed him and raised him being fed out of my hand until he was about 1. He's extremely disciplined and well minded can be clumsy at times due to his size but he means well he's great with my 2 year old and plays well with most dogs (( Depends on how dominant the other dog is)). Hes about 110lbs last time he was at the vet, but all around a good family dog im rehoming him due to me being in the military and upcoming overseas work he deserves a good and caring home you could not ask for a better dog or friend.

Story
Thor is a staff and volunteer favorite, and once you meet him it's easy to see why. This 70 lb love-bug craves affection and will lean against you while you pet him and tell him he's a good boy. Once he's out of the chaotic shelter environment, Thor walks nicely on leash and has wonderful manners. He knows the "sit" command and takes treats gently. He's an intelligent boy and would thrive in a home that will provide plenty of enrichment and teach him new commands. Thor loves toys and will jump into the toy bin in the play yard to select his own playthings. He enjoys fetch and tug-o-war, and playing with other dogs. To set up a meet and greet with Thor, go to HSNB.org and fill out a dog adoption interest application. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 67 Age: 3yrs 6mths 3wks

Story
Good day, I'm Yami, known for my handsome good looks and smoldering baby blues. What makes me stand out is I perform a "happy" bouncy dance for the volunteer walkers before they take me out for a walk and to play. It works because they are always happy after my dance. It's magical.Like most huskies, I'm smart, friendly, but shy, good disposition, and affectionate. I enjoy snuggling, pets, kisses, going on walks, playing with toys and snacks. I walk well on a leash and know basic commands like sit, down, wait, and heel, but I'm sure with love, structure and guidance I can learn alot more. The volunteers have been working with me on my manner and I have improved a great deal. I'm compatible with other dogs, but am dog selective. If you have a dog, you can bring it to visit me to see if we can be friends. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of cats or other small animals. I'm compatible with well-behaved older kids and would thrive with an active, loving family that has the time to provide me with both physical and mental stimulation. I know I can bring joy and happiness to your family. Please come see for yourself. I'll do my "happy" dance for you.My adoption fee of $150 means I'll come to you neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. Please visit www.hsnb.org to fill out an adoption interest application and set-up a date. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 73.375 Age: 6yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Meet Booker, a beautiful, happy, social boy! His friendly demeanor and easy-going personality make him a delight to be around. Booker was very friendly meeting a male dog and solicited play. With a fondness for playing “keep away”, he’s sure to make playtime fun and entertaining. He allows all handling and pulls moderately on leash. Booker is the kind of dog who’s always there to brighten your day, offering a warm welcome and wagging tail. He’d love for you to continue leash and obedience training with him as he brings his playful, joyful nature to your home. Kids 8 and up is recommended.
