Story
Bonham 🩵 1 yr old male Malamute. He is a happy fluffy guy looking for a forever home. He is a big docile, 83 lb sweetheart, who hasn't had an easy go of things. He is in need of some serious TLC. Bonham has been around cats, kids, and dogs successfully. He is learning basic commands and in process of being house trained. Bonham is very smart and easily gets bored. He deserves and needs a spot to de-stress and get his best life started. He'll be a great family dog and companion. Secure 6 ft fence recommended and no livestock. “a note from his foster" 🤍 I am currently fostering this love! 🐾 Everyday he proves to be an even more exceptional soul than the day before! 🐾 His play stints are short, followed by some nap time. He's adjusted to kennel rotation beautifully and let's me know when it's time for a potty break! 🐾 He is just a big marshmallow, who seeks love, some stimulation, good eats, and a soft spot to land! 🐾 He will make his people so happy!!! 🤍 Located in Salem, OR. Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.
