Story
We got Rain from a pet store when he was only couple months old. He’s the sweetest biggest boy. Super friendly, does not like vet and that is the only person he will growl at haha. But otherwise he plays with cats just fine he’s friendly with people and is energetic. He hasn’t been around children before so we aren’t sure how he behaves around them. He loves bananas, apples, and watermelon! He is 7 years old, birthday is 01/08/2018. A really kind soul who loves belly rubs. I will be relocating overseas and looking for a warm loving home that can shower him with love. It may take some time for him to start listening to you (he is quite stubborn) but he will listen. He pulls during walks but nothing crazy. I want him to be happy and to get the life he deserves because he’s the best dog anyone can have.

Story
Monica is all things sweet, goofy, and loving. She just melts when given attention, always coming over to her fosters for pets and belly rubs. She is also a massive snuggle-bug, fitting her 24lb-frame onto any lap. Despite being so young, Monica (“Monnie”, as nicknamed by her fosters) is incredibly smart and observant. She picks up on training extremely quickly, already having mastered “sit”, “shake”, and “down”. She tries her best to please and takes corrections well. She is fully kennel trained and potty trained. Monica enjoys playing with toys and wrestling with the other dogs in her foster home. She blossoms the most in the company of other dogs, so we require a canine companion in her forever home. Monica is 5 month old Alaskan Malamute/American Pit Bull Terrier/Siberian Husky (among 18 other breeds) mix who is expected to be a medium/large dog when full grown. If you are interested in adopting her, please submit an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Due to her breed makeup, we will not be placing her in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2352025##

Story
Meet Koda – Your Blue-Eyed Soulmate & Resident Couch Potato ❄️ Koda is an incredibly handsome Malamute-Husky mix (his personality is much more Malamute than Husky) whose stunning ice-blue eyes are the first thing you’ll notice—but his sweet soul is what you’ll never forget. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy who’s part polar bear, part marshmallow, Koda is your boy! He's basically a cloud with legs. ☁ Koda is the kind of dog who reminds you what peace feels like. At 8 years old, this Malamute-Husky mix has lived enough life to know the value of belly rubs, lazy afternoons, and kind humans. He’s a calm, easygoing gentleman—more floof than fuss—who happily trades zoomies for snuggles and a cozy spot on the couch. Koda walks beautifully on a leash, greets everyone with an assumption that you'll want to give him pets, and rolls over for belly rubs like he’s been waiting for you his whole life. 💙 One of his toes was removed, giving his paw a little extra character, but it doesn't affect his stride or his spirit. If anything, it’s just another reason to fall in love with this unique guy. 🐾 Koda isn’t looking for adventure—he’s looking for home. A soft place to land, a quiet space to nap, and a person to love with all the sweetness he's been saving up. Maybe it's you! ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
