Story
Meet Koda! Your new fluffy BFF! Age: 3 years | Weight: 63 lbs Koda is a stunning husky/malamute mix who is ready to find her forever home! Unlike many huskies, she’s a low-maintenance girl, perfectly content with a short walk or some yard time before heading back inside to enjoy the AC. Koda is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and is potty trained. She’s gentle, curious, and independent, making her an easy companion who doesn’t demand constant attention. That said, Koda will do best with structure and boundaries. She can be protective of her food, toys, and favorite spots, so she will need a confident adopter who understands how to manage resource guarding or is open and willing to learn. Feeding her in her crate and skipping couch privileges will help set her up for success. Because she can be protective of her things with other dogs and is a bit too interested in cats, she will do best as an only pet in the home. Koda is also a true beauty queen! With her gorgeous coat, she’ll need regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling her best. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys a calmer lifestyle, Koda may be your perfect match. She’s ready to share her love and personality with the right family! Apply to adopt Koda at: acesplacerescue.org/availabledogs Located in Denton, Texas

Story
Rain is a 7-year-old Alaskan Malamute (born 01/08/2018) looking for a loving, committed home. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and friendly, great with people, kids, and even cats. He LOVES bananas, apples, and watermelon, and he’s a big cuddle bug who adores belly rubs. It’s important to know that Rain has never been formally trained. He listens well when it’s just us, but he gets easily distracted around others. He needs someone patient, active, and willing to work with him, take him on regular walks, and give him the structure he never had. I originally planned to relocate overseas, but plans changed, and now with medical school, I don’t have the time he deserves. Rain is a wonderful dog with so much potential, he just needs the right person to help bring it out. I’m also willing to cover his food and supplement expenses for the first couple of months to help with the transition. Looking for a truly loving home that can give him the attention, training, and affection he needs.

THE FOLLOWING PET IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT!!! Details belowAdoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/genericMeet Tank!Tank is a big, goofy, lovable Akita with a silly personality and plenty of affection to share. He loves walks, frozen Kongs, puzzle toys, squeaky toys, and any activity that keeps his mind engaged. When he's excited, he's all kisses and enthusiasm, and he's learning his manners every day.Like many Akitas, Tank is not the right fit for every home. He is looking for an experienced, breed-savvy adopter who understands the unique traits and needs of Akitas and is committed to providing structure, training, and proper management. He would thrive with an active family and a securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy supervised outdoor time.Tank has a strong prey drive and is very interested in squirrels and cats, so he will need careful introductions to other pets and may be happiest as the only dog in the home. Because we're still learning his preferences with other dogs, any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully.Tank's ideal family will appreciate his goofy spirit, continue his training, and understand that building trust and maintaining boundaries are key to helping him succeed. In return, you'll gain a loyal, entertaining companion with a huge heart and plenty of personality. He was born in February 2026 and is being fostered in Texas.OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE.
